I went there today, and they failed to give me the drink that I paid for, with my combo meal. I give them a one star. 😡😡😡😡😡

We tried this place out finally and we were very pleased! Way more options than just hotdogs too! Something for everyone and reasonable prices too! Will be back 😎

This is more than a hot dog joint. They seemed to have gone out of their way to change what you know about hot dogs and make it well worth the visit. They have monthly specials and chili and so much more. You will have to come back to try it all. Did I mention these are not your grocery store hot dog. They are beefed up full-size dogs.
Have not been disappointed by anything I have tried there. Only disappointed that I can only eat 1 at a time.
Call ahead, and it's ready to take with you when you arrive in case you can't stay or just order and take it with, the wait won't be long.

This place punches way above its weight. I went more to humor myself wondering how they can make a hot dog fancy. Without a doubt, the pot roast is the best thing on the menu, closely followed by anything with the pulled pork on it. There's sauces are super unique too, the scorpion sauce has a nice tang to it and the thousand Island must be homemade because it tastes nothing like what I've had before. You can actually see the smoker in their kitchen from The cashier's desk, so you know the food real. I personally prefer the onion rings over the fries but the loaded fries were good. The price point makes it worth the visit, what are you become a regular or to satisfy your curiosity. Can't recommend it enough. A unique gem in an area needing a unique gem

The dining room was a little tight for my son who uses a wheelchair, so we decided to order carry out. The food was delicious! All three of us were happy with what we ordered (a regular hot dog, German hot dog, and walking taco fries). I can see us going back for more! Also, the Scrabble games on the wall and table were a nice touch. Good job, The Distinguished Wien!

The hot dog chili had beans, the cheese sauce with a few bits shredded not enough onions . The Cole slaw tasted old, the onion rings were too brown. I like my hotdog chili no beans loaded shredded cheese relish

Went there for lunch around 12:30 we were the only ones there. Food was okay food was brought out hot dogs look burnt but they didn't taste burnt. French fries have some kind of coating on them to make them crunchier. Didn't care for that. Onion rings are very good. The girl at the counter never offered us refills just sit there on her phone.
I've driven by a many times I never hardly see anyone there. Now I understand why. I hate to see a small business not make it but I don't think this place will last.

A Hidden Gem for Hot Dog Lovers

I've driven past this place in the old DQ in Mooresville countless times, always intrigued but never able to stop due to their hours or my time restrictions. Finally last weekend, I convinced my daughter, a cheese fry aficionado, to give it a try. We were both blown away.

The crinkle cut fries, topped with gooey nacho cheese and crispy bacon bits, were a dream come true for my daughter. As for me, I couldn't resist trying both a chili cheese dog and a Chicago dog. Both were incredibly flavorful and exceeded my expectations.
The hardest part about dining here is choosing what to order! Everything on the menu looked delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they offered table service, making the experience even more enjoyable.

If you're a hot dog lover or simply looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, The Distinguished Wein is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu.

We happened upon The Distinguished Wien while returning home from a trip in southern Indiana. We were first drawn to the establishment because the name is funny, but we were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the experience was!

The restaraunt was very clean and our server was so friendly. We tried the spicy cheese curds on her recommendation, which were amazing! The hot dogs we ordered were also great; a lot of toppings and very messy, so be prepared to eat with a fork! Although we don't live nearby, we will make this a stop anytime we are in the area.

Pricing on menu not what is "in system" even with "new" menus nor was it honored.

*bill was discounted bc it was the dollar off fries day, which is why we went. So instead we paid what we would've on a regular day. That's a huge turn off, so no you won't be seeing us back there ? thanks

Got a corn dog and it was raw. And they didn't seem to care. Playing the music way to load. So don't waste your money.

The atmosphere was very welcoming! Staff is super sweet, and the food is phenomenal!
I got a chili cheese dog and their solo fries. The fries are definitely shareable and the IPA brown mustard is to die for!
