My wife and I are really skeptical at trying new places, I had a friend tell me about this place, and we were not disappointed. Very down to earth, and humble people. The food was Awsome, definitely was worth it. Thank you guys very much for your kindness and professionalism we will be spreading the word and we will be back. God bless you from the jones family
We stopped here on a road trip from California to back home in Ohio. We had a wonderful delicious breakfast! The food was the best we had for the whole trip. The owner was fantastic! She really made us feel welcomed and the other patrons did as well. We left with our bellies full of great food and feeling like we had made some new friends! We highly recommend this place! You’re missing out of a great place to eat if you don’t stop in at The House!

Wonderful individually prepared home cooked meals. You can't get a better breakfast. They cook your eggs just the way you ask them to the pancakes have a good flavor and texture. The place is definitely not fancy, and the furniture is mismatched, but it's a clean and comfortable place to eat or hang out. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Glad we tried it.

We had The House cater our son’s birthday. I have never had so many people compliment a meal and ask where the food was from. It was so delicious! We had the BBQ Chicken Sandwiches with Mac n cheese, green beans, and side salad! Phenomenal!!!!!

Home meals!! I grab the FULL BREAKFAST there. This was my 2nd time, and again I was not disappointed. From the wonderful greeting you get when you come in to the the last bite of my breakfast!! I googled BREAKFAST NEAR ME, because I just moved into the neighborhood… I chose THE HOUSE, because it’s a locally owned place, not fast food, and it’s cooked from the time you order (not pre-cooked). Yes, Dennys and iHOP I think does the same, but doesn’t taste the same. WHY? Because my order doesn’t sit under a heating lamp waiting to be served. The atmosphere feels like family.. the people are so wonderful. Thank you to THE HOUSE for making me feel comfortable the moment I walked in ❤️I’d take a pic of my breakfast, but I was so hungry! LolNext time!!

The burgers are great. Have them grill your onions. Also, the fried potatoes are top-notch.

I'm all for giving my money to local business other than huge franchise but kinda hard to do if local never wants to be open.

We stopped in for the first time at about 1 when the place was almost empty. My husband ordered OJ and coffee. They didn’t have OJ and when the waitress brought his coffee it already had an unknown amount and unknown type of creamer in it and she didn’t bring any more. That was weird. He didn’t like the coffee but I did. It was quiet and awkward while we waited on food. I wish there was music or something…. ? While waiting we had plenty of time to realize we were surrounded by religious images and things. The owner later told me they’re “Messianic believers” and hold a bible study there every Friday. I’m all for people’s religious freedoms but it felt like we had wandered into a cult…? Maybe that contributed to feeling like the place was grimy. My husband had the ick and was in a hurry to go. The waitresses were kind and the food was pretty good - fried eggs were cooked right, B&G and sausage were good, but hash browns were more like hashtans (undercooked in my opinion). Not a bad hometown restaurant, just not our style.
