we’ve never had bad service or bad food. the owner deb is personable and the whole staff is so friendly. tonight my boyfriend and i went and were served by a new server named chelsea. you could tell she was so excited to be a part of the atmosphere. she gave us AMAZING service. our visits are always great but this experience deserves a 5 star review.

Service was extremely slow and unfortunately the food was not worth the wait.

took my wife here for dinner on Thursday. We have eaten here before and was expecting a good meal. Our waitress was excellent!!! Food was very below standards. Wifes Shrimp Poboy sandwich was soggy and taste less. We really was looking forward to some good gumbo!! It had no flavor. We looked around for sale & pepper plus any other spices to doctor it up. My meal was their special? Shrimp in a spicy sauce? It tasted like ketchup and water. Waitress noticed I was not eating it and asked if I thought it tasted like ketchup?? She had it taken off our bill. AGAIN the waitress was excellent. FOOD was terrible. We have no desire to go back.

Wanted to try this spot after seeing a DDD Guy Fieri endorsement. Unacceptable customer service starting with a condescending host and ending with an eye rolling waitress that looked like they were both so bothered by a table of 2 asking for service. I looked forward to trying the food but after seeing the entire dining room was awaiting their order on top of the bad attitudes- I decided I would stay on the side of caution and try Ralph and Ava's down the road instead. It had a much better ambience and staff. Y'all need to treat customers like human beings that are spending their hard earned money, not a guaranteed sale just because we make it in the door.

Not big on cajun food but it was tasty. Had the fried oysters and boudin balls. Along with a half and half. Not bad but wasnt overly impressive.Parking: Parked in a lot to what appears to be for other businesses but they were closed so no biggie

We've visited New Orleans many times in our life and every time we've been to Zydeco's..it is like stepping into a teleportation device straight to Louisiana! The food and drinks are artisan level delicious, beautiful presentation, the atmosphere is of the deep south and the staff/owner is so kind.We were there tonight for our wedding dinner and plan to do so every anniversary ahead. Thank you guys so much for the bread pudding dessert❤️

Great food in a Cajunfunky atmosphere!! The server, Amanda was very pleasant and efficient. She gave us recommendations and seemed to enjoy her job. Food was excellent and very authentic. It's a must try!!!

Lookin for some authentic NOL go no farther south than Mooresville Indiana's Zydeco's. The owner is always there and in true NOL style nothing is off limits to discuss. Beads await you at your table and the alligator juice is especially good. They have fresh shrimp shipped in from NOL and nothing about this place is less than authentic. From the decor, food and company. So call ahead and make a reservation, come with an open mind and an empty belly

I've thought very carefully about this for a week. I even made my own gumbo and visited competing restaurants. While the atmosphere is great with good presentation the food fails relative the other 2.The gumbo was watery and lacking spice. Not the burn my mouth kind just lacking. The boudin balls were good but hampered. All my fried food came out extremely greasy. The fried food was crispy and dripping oil telling me the staff is so lazy about swapping oil that it has broken down to the point of soaking my fried oysters and boudin balls.I have worked and managed kitchens, this place could be the jewel of the area but a lack of skill and care seem to be effecting it. It is likely the owner will not respond or will say something snarky about their Louisiana family. I want this place to be the best but currently zats has a better menu, which hurts but it's true.Thank you for reading.
