Whoever is making the skillets needs to put on a hair net, during my not so pleasant breakfast I encountered a hair hanging out of my mouth on two occasions, suddenly I'm not so hungry anymore ?

For a small town diner that everyone loves, I just don't see it anymore. I used to order once a month, but over the last couple of years, it's dropped to once every 6 months. Their food is decent; they do a few menu items well, the rest is just ok. They will always mess up your order if you ask for a simple condiment change. There's no communication or care if there is communication. Don't order for a carryout without checking your order yourself; you'll likely be missing the salad dressing for your salad or cup of cheese for your dots. Happens EVERY time. They pay zero attention to detail or accuracy. Best bet is to sit in to eat to ensure your meal is correct, but they'll still screw something up somehow.

We found this incredible location while traveling on vacation. Awesome homemade food, fast friendly service and comfortable small town atmosphere. I highly recommend trying their delicious skillets for breakfast.

Simply AWFUL. We live in the town and been going there on and off for the past 15 years. I am a start by saying it is overpriced the waitress is an absolute idiot she can never remember anything when you carry out she forgets napkins or the silverware or she’ll just forget your soup not once not twice but five or six different occasions over the times we’ve ordered. We have never called to say anything about it but tonight was the last straw. Chicken sandwich was disgusting and soggy they forgot the soup again and when I called the woman in charge got an attitude with me as expected. Not nice at all. Yelled at me. You’re supposed to be a representative of that establishment. She didn’t care at all that our food was bad. This has happens far too many times. How Mel is allowed to continuously rob the people of morocco over very mediocre food I will never understand. They couldn’t breaka $100 bill and said we would return tomorrow. Well we will not be settling out bill for this slop! It has gone downhill. Hair in our food many occasions. When you tell them about it they do not offer anything to you We boycotted them for years and came back recently to see that nothing has changed

Found this small town diner driving through Morocco. Perfect place to stop for a bite.Edit: second visit to this restaurant was also good. We had the pork burger and BLT along with stuffed pepper soup for the side. Only downside was miracle whip on the BLT. Real mayo would make it much better, but that’s my personal preference.

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast with our toddlers? When we entered, we were told we could sit anywhere. A menu was brought to a shortly after sitting down. Our drink order was taken as our menu was brought to us. I do believe there is a switch from breakfast to lunch around 11:00 a.m. The server was also manning the phone when we were there. The staff all seemed friendly and we're definitely tolerable of our toddlers, who decided to run in circles and dance after eating. I feel like this restaurant gives a homey vibe. The food was more than reasonably priced. Honestly, it was the lowest priced food that I've seen in a while. Overall, we enjoyed our food and our time at the restaurant. I think we'll be back to try lunch, and dinner at a later time.Dietary restrictions: The food is customizable, you can ask to add items, or take items out. There are a bunch of different varieties and options of food.Parking: There is off street parking lot, and you can also park on the street.Kid-friendliness: We brought our kids with us, there's a high chair accessible to anybody who may need it. The staff was very tolerable of our toddlers.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a door on the side of the building that is wheelchair accessible. The parking lot is a decent size and there is plenty of room for anybody who may need to park a little further than the car next to them.

Garlic cheese curds are to die for. Chicago style pizza is great as well. So far so good. We'll be back

Update- new review for Mel's Diner in Morocco. First, a clarification of my prior review. Mel's has three types of pizza: Regular crust style, a 'deep dish' which looks like an ordinary pizza, just deeper, and what they call a 'Chicago Style with sauce on top' which is like what you would get at Ginos or Unos. Upon asking previously they have said they use the same ingredients in all three types. While I haven't had the regular, the 'deep dish' is terrible and not one family or friend likes it. On the other hand, I feel the 'Chicago style with sauce on top' could very well be the best pizza I have ever had !? and friends and family agree. How the taste can be so different between the two types baffles us. The appetizers remain very good, and family reports other entrees are all good. Now, here's the problem. It's a small storefront business maybe a dozen tables. Saturday 7/29/23 four families went for the good 'Chicago style' pizza, each ordering one specifically. It turned out to be a very busy afternoon, and there was only one server/counter person rushing around like crazy. She serially brought each family a 'deep dish' which all eight people ate and again hated, after asking why they weren't the 'Chicago style with sauce on top'. The waitress discussed it with the cook and they both knew nothing about anything but the regular and deep dish!? Which is why we aĺl forced something down we hated. So perhaps they were fill in employees? I don't know but you don't serve four families food they didn't order, that they didn't like, and then charge them regular if any price at all. So that's the story of how Mels went down to two stars. What had become my favorite and frequent place turned me off to the degree I will never go there again. You will apparently take your chance on what pizza you will be served. And they were out of raspberry tea.
