We had the fried chicken dinner for 4. It was very tasty, moderately priced, and the slice of pie at the end was wonderful. The service was great and the restaurant was very clean. We would definitely go again.

Kid-friendliness: Kids said the chicken fingers were the best they'd had in a long time.

Parking: Plenty of parking across the street.

The beef Manhattan was terrible. Very little meat and there was so much gravy that it looked like a dish of soup. Mashed potatoes were thin and tasteless. After the waitress left our food, she never came back until she brought the bill. A very disappointing experience ?

The food was good. However the portions were extremely small like 8 fries total and maybe a 1/4 cup of meat with one onion sliver on what looked to be a Hawaiian roll for the Philly cheesesteak. I think I found a speck of green pepper. So other than that it was good just not a grown man’s meal.

I love fried chicken and theirs is some of the best I’ve ever had. Crisp but not over done on the outside and lots of moist delicious flavor on the inside. The sides were good but not near as outstanding. The pie well that was the icing on the cake.

Food was fresh and tasty. Pies are wonderful, made by scratch! But I ordered chef salad with out green peppers and it was full of them. I can’t eat them because I just had surgery on my stomach and the waitress didn’t care.

Time stands still here. Walked in on Sunday morning and there is a waiting area and dining rooms to the left and the right. Waited for about 5 minutes until a couple came in and just sat down at the only clean table on the right side....OK it is seat yourself but no sign and now we are 1 table behind.Sat ourselves but took 3 minutes to be told we would be waited on and 6 until our drink order was taken and we were given menus.Took 40 minutes to get 2 eggs, bacon and toast. The food was prepared perfectly. The servers were friendly and the price is fair but the wait was too long.Caution: They serve fake butter.

We ordered a to go order on Saturday. We ordered fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and coleslaw. We live approximately 30 miles from Morristown. We get home with the order, we don’t have the gravy for mashed potatoes, had to doctor the green beans and coleslaw, they didn’t have any flavor. The fried chicken was excellent, the potatoes were good even though they didn’t have any gravy on them. Will we return???

Mixed review. First the bad then the good. Hamburger pre-fab frozen? Waited half hour and asked 'where's the food'? Not pleasurable when someone who arrived 10 minutes later gets served before you. Maybe order the fried chicken next time, the rumored specialty and fast tracked item? Okay the good. tenderloin & philly steak sandwiches favorable. Reuben sandwich unusual almost ribeye beeflike and tender tan, not typical red salty corned beef. So I had to ask and was told it was corned beef. Light on sauerkraut but plenty of 1k dressing. Hmmm was that rye bread? Maybe not. Reasonable prices. Fairly busy for early afternoon. Courteous service, but no real conversation. All business. Would try again but if mixed then stars drop...

We celebrated my nephews bday at Bluebird. My 1st visit. I ordered the Reuben. Oh Lord, that sandwich instantly landed on my top 10 Reuben spots. I kinda like Reubens, lol.The service was good as we had 10 ppl in the party. I only say good because my sweet tea should never be empty. I love sweet tea a little. In short, finally. We WILL be returning to this place, and it is an hour away. The trip is well worth it. ?

Good food in a quiet spot. Not a huge menu, but definitely enough options to choose from. And the quality seemed very good.

Staff was friendly. Thats why they received 2 stars instead of 1. Food was bad. My wife ordered a lemonade. Something was floating in it. Returned it for another. Same thing again. So passed on that. Probably should wash the pitcher it comes in after each use. I ordered country fried steak. Wasn't impressed. She ordered fried chicken. It was terrible. Came with a salad where the lettuce was wilted. Probably should have thrown it away the day before. We won't go back.

It is casual, down-home atmosphere with amazingly delicious food. I had the blue burger and loved it. It's a small town gem for sure.

Best fried chicken in the state of Indiana!! They are not currently offering the buffet, but they have a good variety on the menu. The Sugar Cream pie is just like Granny made, it's Wonderful!
