Love that it's meat cooked in a sauce which is not always easy to find. I had shredded chicken platter with fried okra, very crispy and fresh, and the hashbrown casserole, also very good. I would do a double hashbrown side next time. Food portion is equal to price in my opinion. My meal was under $15 and I was full. Went with water. Not paying $3+ for drinks (wasn't posted on menu, I asked). Felt like I had a lovely meal at a reasonable price. Worth the drive from Evansville. Great service!

The BBQ is alright, probably won’t come back after 2 times. Brisket is real thin and almost like deli meat. Not a fan. Bit pricey aswell but great service!

Stopped by this past Saturday for the first time in a while. There was a live singer on the patio and the mood out there was great. The food was your typical bbq, nothing incredibly special, but good nonetheless. The service, however, was great. Our waitress, Ava, was very witty and friendly. Full of personality, and provided great service. Short wait time too. Great to see the young generation out working and being personable. Will be back.
Nancy C was a very good server. She was taking care of most of the place and did not neglect anyone. Some reviews mention high prices. One when you buy smoked meat it is going to be more expensive. I thought some things were very reasonable like the loaded potatoes and the desserts, ribs are higher but that’s anywhere. I’ve paid more in North Carolina. Big big big glasses for your drinks. The bbq that was on it didn’t really agree with me but I’m going back to order it naked and try another sauce. The banana pudding was out of this world. For the ones that order fish or something non bbq at a bbq place is king of silly. It’s not going to be good like going to Mexican and ordering American food. Just noticed another’s review. If you want fish go To a fish place or Roberts by the River for good fish. I will be back soon. Party of 3 was 91.36 and we had more than we could eat.

I had the brisket plate... my son had a brisket sandwich... both of my sides were even better than the brisket, which was good... they have 3 bbq sauces, which are all ok...
fries were nothing special... sauces could be better, but all are ok... prices a bit high, given the portions...
anyhow, 5 stars for good service, speed, & both kinds of beans...
