I am no square but I am absolutely appalled at this Applebees location!!! Walked in to watch football and have wings on Sunday and the whole entire bar was completely smoked out (NOT cigarettes) and before I even made it to the bar I turned around and walked out! How the heck is this even going on in a nice neighborhood. The police need to come shut this place down. When I walked out I noticed the family behind us walk out as well. This was Sunday August 31

Always a good day at Applebee's when Brandi's working the bar. Her drinks are top tier and not to mention she makes great recommendations. I appreciate the phenomenal customer service I'll definitely be back.

My fiance and I came in for lunch on August 31st around noon . We waited for about 5 minutes to be greated by our server. Within a few minutes after being greeted we placed our order. We ordered a margarita and a soda, and an appetizer, and two entrees. I received my margarita within 5 mins, but my fiance had to wait over 20 minutes for her drink. I asked the waitress about her drink and she said sorry I had to wash the glasses thats why it took so long. She asked for no ice but of course they put ice in it. I asked the waitress for another without ice and she proceeded off to make another with out ice. When she came back she says sorry it stopped working halfway through the pour.. then she said it worked for herself as the waitress poured herself a drink before serving the guest. While waiting for our appetizer I used the restroom to find the host sitting on the counter in the mens room between the sinks vaping. We waited for about 40 minutes for our appetizer before asking the waitress when it's coming out. We got more excuses while overhearing a table of nuns also having many issues with their service and food. Finally, 10 minutes later we got all our food at once. They brought out the wrong sauces, the bear cheese was ice cold and the waitress said its supposed to be cold. My finances burger was really burnt! I called over the manager who told me the cheese is supposed to be hot and apologized about the food and service. Also the waitress added bottles of water on the order that we didn't order. The manager took off the waters and the burger. This was a very poor experience and we will never come back to this location!

So apparently they had an inspection from the State yesterday but failed to let anyone else know this. Food would've taken an hour to receive and so we walked out after being there for 15 minutes. It seems like you all were very understaffed and I understand. But, get it together. We are all hungry! I had 2 children with me who didn't get to eat until hours later.

This will be the last visit to an Applebee's. Waited 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us walking in the door. Staff was rude and racist. Took the staff 10 more minutes to clear one of the 4 booths that people had already left before we arrived. Young man working the front couldn't have moved any slower and could care less if we stayed or left. After finally getting seated waited 10 more minutes for a waitress to tell us she would be right with us. 5 more minutes and no one ever took our drink order let alone a food order. I asked to speak to a Manager and waited 10 minutes and no one came out from the back. Clearly the entire staff was incompetent and treated their customers horribly. Done..with Applebees. No wonder they are all closing. You hire lazy people who don't want to work and allow them to treat your customers this way you deserve to go out of business.
Warning stay away from Applebee's in Munster Indiana !!

The waitress seemed like a sweetheart however she didn’t tell me they were out of the pictured noodles for the dish I ordered, otherwise I would’ve ordered something else but the drinks were free and the extra money for the meal was taken off of my bill for the inconvenience, I didn’t mind paying afterwards but I still would’ve like to enjoyed my food as well.

Placed an online order for pickup. Items where missing from the meals. Food presentation was poor. Food items where substituted without asking or notifying me. Seemed like the staff was making more noise than the customers and it wasn't work related. This specific Applebee's location overall quality has drop through the years.

Don't seem to have a consistent hostess. I usually grab a menu and go to the bar area where the service is pretty good Prices are very reasonable especially before 3pm.
