Casa Del Mar Mexican Bar & Grill

I went here today and sat at a table for over 15 minutes and no one even came to our table. It was 3 in afternoon and they only had few customers. The bartender called over to the 4 waitresses sitting at a table to remind them. No one came. Ridiculous. Looks like we're going to El Salto from now on.

The food was sooooo salty it looks like the cook pour the whole bottle of salt on the meat.

We had the enchiladas. They were good. The beans were a little cold, the rice was not very tasty. Overall the service was great, food good, not great.

Dinner was good as always. We were overcharged for 3 additional margaritas, but they compensated by giving us a gift card to come back and were apologetic. We will happily return.

I had high expectations for this place. It was 7 of us that ate there today. The restaurant is somewhat nice, a bit deteriorated. Their tables look old and definitely show wear and tear. The decor is nice and the outdoor seating is a nice touch. Our server was nice. She did bring the wrong drink for one of us though. The food...NOT authentic at all. I see why the majority of their customers are not Mexican/Hispanic. The camarones a la diabla were horrible. The sauce was just not it! The nachos were miserably poor. I got about 12 chips arranged on a plate with meat and cheese on top of each chip, sour cream, guacamole, and jalapeños in the middle of the plate. Definitely too expensive for what you get. The cóctel de camaron wasn't good either and they didn't have saltine crackers to go with it. Those are a must with cóctel. Another one of our entrees was a burrito de pastor (pork). The meat was good, but the burrito was smaller than expected and not enough meat in it. The fish tacos were ok and the rice and beans were fine. The kids chicken tenders and fries were good. All of us agreed that we won't be back. This place has potential, but it definitely lacks that authentic touch.

Poor customer service, not friendly to customers of different race. Wouldn’t recommend. Took my kids and we were seated. The waiter brought chips and no introduction or nothing and walked away. A Hispanic family was seated next in front of us. Our waiter introduced herself, brought them chips and water. She began to have conversations in her language. Didn’t like the service and how we were treated there.

It's not that great, not that bad... I won't be back though. It's lost It's charm over the years. Food lacks flavor and the rice and beans ? were so greasy I has gas. The burrito suizo is too wet nowadays!!! Meat could have been cooked down longer!!!! Chips Stale! Waitstaff not very attentive 2/5

Friday and Saturday night have live music!!
Ordered appetizer, nachos and a mix drink, something like Rubi relaxer, sweet, cherry flavored, a las rocas.
Nachos were good, stuffed with beans, cheese and your choice of meat..
chips and salsa complimentary, so delicious!!

This place is not what it used to be. Food was not the quality it was before. They are using store bought chips for the chips and salsa. My wife ate half of her burrito and didn't want the other half. The food was so so. Last time we will patronize. Will stick with El Rancho Grande.

First and last time visiting Casa Del Mar. Placed a to go order and the lillte girl (I call her this due to her tone and attitude), was rude and condescending unneccesarily. This establishment can really benefit from some customer service training and remind employees the only reason you have a job is because of the customers. Really too bad and will not be going back with so many other options.
