Went to lunch today with my son, ordered the special Lake Perch w/mac and cheese. When it came I took 2 bites of the perch and found it to be mushy and not cooked enough. Called the waitress and gave it back to her, she showed the boss and he said "I just had some and it was ok" when the bill came they made me pay for it,I told the boss I didnt eat it and sent it back but he just said I should have let them cook it longer. This is a terrible way to run a business , I will never go back there and hope anyone who reads this will stay away , hope I dont get sick from this.

I used to love this place but the last few times we went it was so bad. We ordered simple stuff and took over an hour to get (it was pasta) meanwhile people who were seated after us and ordered after us got fried chicken, ate and left before we got our food… there were large chunks of uncooked onion and peppers, raw broccoli stems and the shrimp was over cooked. The garlic bread wasn’t served until we got our bill and then We were told we couldn’t have dessert so we will not be back. The price of what we paid $40… we coulda gone to olive garden and had better…

Me and my sister were actually mistakenly got turned around and she was very frustrated with driving too far. We were heading to THE WHEEL restaurant but we noticed Commander restaurant and decided to give it try....We were more than happy with everything. The food was delicious, the service was great and the restaurant boss and cashier were humorous and very friendly...we totally enjoyed our experience. By the way I live in Chicago and my sister is visiting from Las Vegas and we didn't want to go to the crowded city
A pretty solid choice, they have a surprisingly varied menu. I've lived in this area for years, and every time I've dined in the servers are more than pleasant, and the food rarely disappoints.

This restaurant was one of our favorites. Came here for many years. The service was aweful and Danny was very rude to us. He had problems with a few waitresses and held a meeting while we were sitting there waiting and waiting. We paid for our drinks and decided to leave. All he said was goodbye . Doesn't care about customers. My husband has been going there since the late 70's. I wish them the best. On the uptake, the food is good.
