Live music, good steaks and seafood, not to mention the pasta. Lasagna is very good. Staff is like family.

My husband and I both ordered veal piccata and had to return. It was tough, presentation bad and pasta overcooked. It is not same quality of food as when LaDuca’s owned restaurant. We were patrons for over 30 years having showers, wedding receptions and funeral luncheons there with prior owners
We will not return

My wife called to reserve a booth for this past Thursday and told the hostess we will be celebrating my birthday. Never had been there before, heard it was excellent. The card and wrapped gift on the table for my birthday, was never acknowledged by the waitress. we both ordered prime rib and asked about the char selection for it. that's what we both ordered and we were told it could not be medium rare, at best medium. both were black all the way around, the steak knives did very little to cut them(difficult to chew is a huge understatement).should have been tender prime rib. the waitress asks later if I wanted a box for my leftovers. I told her a hacksaw couldn't have cut through that prime rib. she suggested that maybe the knives were dull 😂 we told her it had nothing to do with the knives, it was inedible, all she said was sorry. I thought the manager might come to the table, but no.measuring the thickest part of what my wife brought home, it was 3/4 of an inch (the thinnest, toughest pieces of meat ever). the vegetables were super salty, and tasted like the burnt char on the prime rib. The baked potato was good, the house creamy Italian dressing was awful. The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other across the table. Waitress was tipped over 20% (?) and the hostess said happy birthday to me as we walked out the door. We are spreading the word to stay away from Giovanni's in Munster. what a waste of $100.00

I’m going to have to give this place three stars for 3 reasons- 1- we had to wait a long time before our server came to get our drink order and then we had to wait again to get our salads and soups. 2- we had to wait even longer to get our actual meals and 3- our food was just okay- not terrible but not great either. After waiting 1 hour and 32 minutes to actual eat our meals, we were disappointed in the taste and temperature of the food. The veal parm was chewy. The chicken parm was cold. The spaghetti was overcooked and some pieces were hard and it also had a faint taste of some type of vegetable that wasn’t on my plate. Peas, maybe- (I know Weird, right?) The highlight of the meal was the bread and butter and the soup and salad. Honestly, I probably would have had better Italian food at Olive Garden in Schererville for half the price and half the wait but at least we finally tried it. Not sure if I would return to this one though.

We waited a long time to be greeted at the table but it was UP from there!! I ordered the surf and turf, it was cooked perfectly!! The fillet melted in my mouth and had amazing flavor. The lobster tail was also very good. I would highly recommend this place for the food. We came on a Tuedays night so we wonder if the service is better on a busier night.

I ordered chicken Vesuvio which is a Chicago staple and my companion ordered chicken piccata. The chicken Vesuvio came out with a thick brown sauce that had absolutely no flavor. Chicken Vesuvio is made with white wine, chicken broth, lemon, garlic, olive oil and oregano. A very simple dish that they screwed up. My companions dish had the same exact brown sauce on their chicken piccata. Also, not how you make a piccata sauce. The waitress was lovely and the atmosphere was nice. Food not so much! Will not go back.
