Mishkenut is our go-to when we want all the goodness of a slow-cooked, savory, healthy meal with the convenience of carry-out. The falafel is perfectly crispy, the hummus silky smooth (you can ask for it extra spicy!), pita warm and fluffy, shawarma seasoned to perfection, and Fatoosh salad with house dressing is light and tasty to balance everything. Plan ahead and call in your order with at least an hour of lead time. Dining in? Call ahead and don't sleep on the delicious hot tea with pine nuts to sip while you wait.

I'm currently going through an extreme type of chemo This delightful food is one of the few foods I crave. it helps me bounce back quicker. What a gem. Hal has a driven nature, but puts the love of humanity first.

The hummus is the best I’ve eaten and always the same top quality flavor. I have never been disappointed with my order, make sure to try a bit of everything! Dine in or carry out available and they usually offer a lunch special for dine in.

I just went there to grab a bite to eat. I have eaten here a while ago and they were good so I figured to give it another try. I walked in and stood by the counter and a woman in the kitchen asked if I was dining in or picking up and I stated I was dining in. She stated that I should keep in mind that there are only two of them so it will be some time before I get the food and I said “no problem” ((she already seemed annoyed but I understand the food industry is rough and customers can be nasty)). She mentioned to sit anywhere there is a menu. The only table I saw with menus was a two person table and there was going to possibly be 3 of us total — not to mention that as I was walking towards that table, the table next to it quickly grabbed one of the menus so there was only one left. So I took the one menu and went to another table — again, because I needed a larger table to accommodate more people. As soon as I sat down, I hear from the kitchen something to the effect of “did I not just say to pick any table with a menu on it”. I was going to politely explain myself but honestly, feeling wiped out from an urgent care visit and hungry so I put the menu back on the original table and left there quietly with a smile. I really do not like writing reviews like this because my goal is not to cause harm to a place, especially a local small business; however, I do feel that people should be aware of the foul attitude from that specific kitchen worker. Tall-ish woman with long dark hair that was pulled back. People have bad days and hopefully that was the case; however, I’m honestly not sure if I will return.

Great food. A few Vegan options. Hal is the best but needs to make more Lentil soup!

Was really craving some good Mediterranean/middle eastern food after a recent trip out of town. Mishkenut did not disappoint at all! Everything we ordered was fantastic - really good keftah and the Kibbeh was fantastic! If you haven't ordered it or tried it before, highly recommend. The service was great too, we'll definitely be returning!

I don't often review but this is next level. From all of the ingredients and every detail. Precisely crafting food that you can seriously taste the love and care they have for doing this. If you can't remember the last time you were really happy and genuinely appreciative then make the best decision you've made in a long time and go see what I'm talking about.

Vegetarian options: About half of the menu appeared Vegg-centric. You won't have any problem at all finding where veggies meet flavor here!

This restaurant is small, maybe a dozen plus tables, and is exceptionally clean and organized. The place should have a minimum of two employees but is run by one exceptionally competent and friendly lady. She explained she can’t find help that could uphold her standards of quality cooking and service. If you are in a hurry to eat, find a fast-food place, this place is not for you. This restaurant has the best and most unique Mediterranean cooking that I have ever tasted. Everything is created from scratch and what she does with the seasoning: the herbs, spices and her secret ingredients is pure magic. The place might be a little short on ambience but if you want an exceptional Mediterranean dining experience put this place at the top of your list. You won’t be disappointed.
