I showed up in person (didn't call ahead) and ordered a pizza from these guys last night, and they were courteous and fast, and gave me a delicious pie to take home. Absolutely will return for more of their great food!

Came in randomly for dinner after shopping next door and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza dough is fantastic. I also really enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs. The little bar was a nice surprise and I was glad to see they had Campari. We will order from here again!

The pizza is absolutely delicious. The sausage and sauce are unique, tangy, and have a great texture.
I can't say enough good things about the food, but the service is terrible.
Three times in two months, my order was lost. I showed up after 40 minutes as told and they just didn't have the order on record.
A third time in those 2 months, the order was incorrect and they gave me a wrong topping pizza.
They offered me a replacement the first time and a size larger, as they had made one too big for another order. I accepted it and just waved it off.
But now, that's 3 times in a row that I go and I can no longer be confident that the pizza I ordered will be there.
Sorry, John's. I will begrudgingly accept the increased price for a good pizza, but I just can't comment to coming there after 3 incorrect orders in a row.

Im editing my post because I just had an experience i thought I would never have at the original johns. I go here to treat myself once a month at least. On 7-24-25 I ordered a medium sausage pizza like always. Or so i thought! When I opened the box I thought it was a cheese pizza. This was not the johns I know at all. For $29 bucks i do expect sausage on my pizza. Please dont screw up making the pizza the way john made it and wanted it to be done. I come get a pizza here because it was always like I remembered it from calumet city. Don't cheap out and start changing things because of our economy like the dyer and griffith johns did. I never ate such crap from those 2 places. I left them bad reviews and told everyone to go to munster for the best johns pizza. I hope im not wrong and maybe it was someone just new cooking. I noticed a big difference in the pizza I received. I hope you go back and make them like they should be. Ill give it another try in a couple weeks if I get the same outcome I will just start going to Langels. They have never changed a thing and the pizza is very good with plenty of topping. Ill edit again in a couple weeks and let you know the outcome.

I always visit John’s when I’m in Munster. Fantastic Pizza, great meatballs and the best marinara sauce I have ever had. Would thoroughly recommend. Great takeout too!
