Time hearing about this place from one of my best friends & I tell you the food was excellent, then I order some more food to take home for my wife when she gets home and she loves it also & said we need to order some to take out if town this weekend, so I said it's not going to make it out of town, Great food, Great staff, we will definitely be back !! I ordered the soul food bowl which consists of baked chicken, greens, dressing, yams and a thin layer of cornbread on the bottom. The greens were overly salty, the yams were good but dry, the dressing tasted like stove top (very mushy) and the "one" piece of chicken breast was Ok and the food was not hot.
The portion were very small and the food is waaaaaaay overpriced for the little amount of food you receive. The women there were nice as they spoke and greeted you as you come in the door.
This was a VERY disappointing food experience as I had good expectations of finding a good black owned soul food restaurant I could support as well as good eating for my Sunday relaxation and not cooking on the weekends but unfortunately this was not it.
Please do better on your price to portion serving ratio and tasting your own food before serving it to your customers.
Parking: Small area with not a lot of space to park. It's a get in and get out restaurant.

Ordered on DoorDash, but this was such an excellent experience. The owner called and said the salads were pre-made in the morning, and taking the onions off wouldn't happen. But then said they would do it since it was a food allergy. Portions were massive, well worth it. Salmon Croquettes crispy and garlicy. Cheese grits are absolutely divine. Jerk flavor is very powerful but flavorful. Egg rolls are very crispy and full. Can't wait to order again.
I had the peach cobbler egg rolls and shrimp Alfredo potatoe, and baby that was so good, full of flavor and definitely enough for 2 people. The welcoming feeling I received when I walked in made me feel appreciated for coming in. I will return for more. I have to try everything on their menu.

my birthday celebration was over the top! You must use this gifted caterer. She left me lots of cards and brochures and none was left for me after guests tasted those fabulous egg rolls, fresh fruit and awesome chicuterri board. That peach cobbler egg roll will make uou want to slap yo momma. And the beautiful way she displays the food!! Thank you for being a blessing to me.

Went in For The Delicious Jerk Salad and ended up trying another menu item as well. The Cornbeef egg roll..Let me say this I have never had this before and I don’t know why. This egg roll was so good and flavorful.. It came with a Sweet chili sauce and I forgot to use it .. Highly recommend trying one

I tried the corn beef cabbage and ground beef egg rolls and I must say I was highly disappointed with the lack of flavor and no seasoning. Not to mention the ground beef combination threw it completely off!!!
