Located in New Harmony, IN. Restaurant represents the atmosphere of the town. Quaint. Breakfast/lunch served. Special of the day was a delicious cheese burger served plain or with all the trimmings served on toast. Novel presentation. I liked the way it was served. Tater tots accompanied the burger. Simple but tasty menu.
Not a chain restaurant.
Children friendly.
Drawback: short staff for the amount of customers.
Best biscuits and gravy of anywhere around. Large breakfast menu. Friendly service.
Home town dinner , great service, handmade milkshake are awesome.
Very friendly and fast. My sister loved her fried catfish sandwich, but my chicken salad sandwich was just ok. I wish they served breakfast all day.
Its totally worth it, stop in and see a different place in time! Enjoy!! 😍
Cute little cafe in a cute little town. Very clean and service was wonderful. My husband ordered the keto burrito. The shell was made of grilled cheese and it was delicious!

The perfect diner! We loved the glitter seats, friendly service, and great food.
We manage peanut and treenut allergies. While this restaurant has both, they used extra measures to be sure we could eat safely. Thank you! We will be back again!

The epitome of a small town diner!
From the glittery booths to the entry way to the menus to the food, everything about Main Street Cafe is small town loveliness!
Try the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich-my favorite and a small town staple!

Took 30 mins to get menus. It was not busy. The waitress was very rude and inefficient from the beginning. She came to the table to take the order, drop off the food, & go get the items she forgot. Our food was cold but tasty. She never checked on us throughout the meal. Other waitresses had more tables. Heck, the one girl was waitressing with a full leg cast and she was more polite and efficient. Maybe our waitress was just having an off day. Idk. The gentleman cleaning the tables checked on us. He saw my eggs were undercooked (the whites were visibly not cooked). He offered to have them remade.
We drove over 5 hours to come to the Firefly Festival. We ate at a couple local restaurants and this one was disappointing.

Server was nice and thought I over tipped. The food was good for the price. It is very casual.

Very poor service & long, LONG wait for food! No matter what you order, be prepared for a very long wait to get your food. They charged $9.95 for a plain salad, and tried to charge $11.95 for tortilla chips & salsa & a coke.
