Wow! Our food was amazing! I got the 12 oz steak with blue cheese. My wife, the surf and turf, bacon wrapped. Both where tender, cooked to perfection. We ate outside by the water feature which we highly recommend. The goat cheese app was incredible. Highly recommend this place!

Well you know it is very hard for me to give 5 stars. This little restraint is quaint with a lot of old charm. There is architecture that remains from the period and preserved well. The service and food were both very good. The music was excellent- very sitting and peaceful. Definitely part of the New Harmony experience. Go and enjoy!

Nice facility and atmosphere. Outdoors had live music. The staff was great- thank you. Food was decent, a little higher priced but the quality was acceptable. We tried some drinks and the shrimp cocktail to start, then split the ribeye for two. Expect to spend 50 a person or so. The steaks was above average, and worth the drive to New Harmony. We will be back.

My wife and I were very excited to try this restaurant while we were in New Harmony for a retreat, but we left disappointed. The food was subpar, especially for the price. Our biggest complaint was that, after ordering our meals, we saw several people with delicious looking hamburgers (that were not on the menu). We later discovered when the waitress brought the dessert menu that the burgers were the daily special. I don’t know why we weren’t informed of this at the time of ordering. Overall the food and prices weren’t worth the trip.

We had lunch at Red Geranium. I had the salad with grilled chicken. It was very fresh mixed greens as we're the cucumber and tomatoes. Several people at the table ordered the reuben and said it was very good. Our server was great! He has been there for over 20 years. Price was just right. The view is beautiful in the area we were seated.

The best restaurant in town (in my opinion) - Red Geranium has a lovely atmosphere both indoors and outdoors.
My steak in the steak salad was done to perfection. Avocado dressing? Yes please! Our apps that we ordered were delicious: goat cheese ball and the “sticks” which were like a cross between an egg roll and a panini. Their menu changes with the season, which I always love to see. AND THEY SERVE WARM BREAD ROLLS! Absolute 5 stars in my book!
This is a small town though, so the sense of urgency here is non existent. Please elevate your 5 senses and truly enjoy.

I know it has been a long time and I am from Norris City , Illinois when we always drive over for lunch when I am home to visit . On this special my mother had a sudden health issue and couldn’t leave the car so we came in and ordered her lunch to go. When the waiter found out the situation he fixed a special tray so she could eat in the car and that it was in the shade. When we were ready for desert he did the same. It has been so long ago he would be long gone and she is passed. Several years had passed and I was home to visit my brother and again the reason this time was cancer. He was still able to get around and drive and he lived in Evansville Indiana. This day he wanted to visit the Red Geranium. As always we had the best service and the food was so good my brother was able to eat everything. After our lunch he drove all around the grounds and as I remember a lake with birds that we just enjoyed swimming around. He drove us to a park and to two different maizes, the church with no roof. We went to several sites and enjoyed them so much from historic sites to peoples homes so well kept. I knew we were on his good bye trip yet we said we wanted to come back and stay in the Red Geranium Motel some time but never made it. Again years have passed and I still live in Tampa Florida and I sit and remember the happy times in New Harmony always starting there in your restaurant.
Parking: I don’t know. It was ample across the shade across the corner. It may be different now.

The place seems fancy when you walk in: fancy music, tablecloths; they even bring you water before you order. But the decor was really strange and didn't match the "fine dining" aspect. Not to mention, the food was OKAY at best and wayy too expensive for the quality. Deserts were delicious, though.
