This is such a cute quaint restaurant. We ate brunch on a rainy Saturday in January. It was cold and dreary outdoors but inside it was warm and cozy and welcoming. Our service was excellent. Food was excellent and not your ordinary fare. The chef obviously has some knowledge and imagination. We enjoyed our meal and intend to come back again soon when passing through Indiana.

My partner and I had an amazingly decadent meal here last night and there wasn't a single bad thing on the table from soup, to wedge salad, to main course, to three different desserts (yes we ordered three and they were all better than fantastic). The prices are definitely something a penny pincher or frugal denizen would balk at, so I doubt half the bad reviews have even tasted the food or they'd know it is definitely worth the price. The berry cheesecake was bursting with berry flavor, which surprised me in winter, and the berries were not bitter or too sweet in the slightest. It was the perfect piece. We ordered the Ribeye cooked medium and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We did not expect to like the sweet ginger chili sauce that came with the cuban cigar app but it too was surprisingly fantastic. The waitress said the carrot cake was perfection and raved about it and she told no lies. Even the vegetables were well seasoned and absolutely delicious. It's an incredibly long drive but I cannot wait to come back.

If you are in New Harmony and want a little more upscale dining experience then this is the place. For a gluten free person they had limited choices. If you like steak and shrimp then this is a place you will enjoy.

Historic area with walking tours everywhere. Quaint restaurant with decent food, attentive staff, and great atmosphere. Prices are reasonable, especially when compared to today's runaway fast food prices. All in all, we love this place.Parking: Parking is directly across the road, with golf cart parking and walk up traffic accounting for half of their business.Kid-friendliness: Not exactly a kids restaurant, but the staff was helpful with my little ones, and the kids were plenty entertained.Wheelchair accessibility: I injured my knee so I'm a bit more aware of accessibility these days, and this place seemed fairly easy to navigate.

I was not terribly impressed. It did have a nice atmosphere. My problem was the Greek salad I ordered came with no greens/lettuce. Only had peppers, tomatoes, Kalakaua olives and feta cheese. Small portion and cost $15.00. I was glad I added grilled chicken but they added maybe 3 Oz for an addtl $5.00. I reread the menu description and it said "Mix, and then listed all the ingredients I mentioned. I thought the Mix meant a mix of greens. I don't think I've ever had a Greek salad that didn't have any greens. My husband just had a very good lettuce wedge with a bunch of toppings and a very tasty French onion soup. The meal was very expensive. Service was ok.
