Yellow Tavern is a great place to meet friends for a drink or have supper and watch the game. I've been there multiple times and haven't had anything bad. The pizza is great!

Lovely restaurant with old time photos on the wall. Welcoming staff. I enjoyed my German bologna sandwich, baked potato and broccoli. Lots of choices on the menu including a vegetarian option and pizza. It was busy when I was there and the staff were hustling.
Very close to Hoosier Art Salon which featured art competition entries.

Went to the Yellow Tavern for lunch, place is very unique and a wonderful place to relax. Had an amazing grilled cheese sandwich, which is how I judge every restaurant. Staff was friendly, will be back!

You should were a jacket. The cooling system, whether it needs to be on for the customer does for the grill cook. And he is just behind the bar. The evening we were at the Yellow Tavern was beautiful T-shirt weather. Luckily I had a sweatshirt and raincoat in the car as it was freezing indoor for dinner. Our waitress came back to the table once. With the ticket. I do not remember what food we ordered. I was too cold and just wanted out. Others did seem to be enjoying themselves.
Definitely will be back! Great food, Great environment!

Meh. This is one of those places locals love but no one knows why. Three of us showed up for lunch. There was maybe 4 other tables. The bartender/server was definitely overwhelmed. Watching her work was excruciating, for drink refills she would grab one cup at a time walk back to the bar, refill it, then come grab another one. The burgers were incredibly overcooked and dried out. It's cash only, so that's always fun.
