Sadly after a fun day roaming around shops in New Harmony, we thought we would stop in for dinner before heading to our room. I say sadly because we did not feel welcome, we did not feel appreciated and our server acted like we were an inconvenience . The fried mushrooms we had as an appetizer were great and that is where the “great ended”. Our patty melts were ok. The meat was cooked perfectly. My husband said that maybe it was because we did not order a beer or any liquor. I did order a soft drink with my meal, but it seemed to annoy her to get me a refill and one refill is all I got. Our waters were not even refilled. Then to top it all off, when the check came, that is when we found out that they didn't take cards and only accepted cash or checks. Good thing I had both! First time there and last time. Should have gone to our room and had the fresh tomatoes and Armenian cucumbers that were given to us by another business in town. Everyone has a bad day, and maybe that was the case with our server. Maybe tomorrow will be better, but someone else can try it.

The Pork chops were cooked perfectly tender and moist, the baked potato, broccoli w/cheese accommodated the meal well. Great service at a reasonable price.
Parking: You can park on street for free maybe 8 close spots out front, around back (ally) there's 10 potential spots
Wheelchair accessibility: I don't remember seeing any.
There was a bit of a wait, but only because they're shortstaffed. Despite the wait, the waitress was attentive and checked up on us often. The food was AMAZING. I will be thinking about that pizza for the rest of my life. Best pizza I've ever had. And super cheap too.

As a Plantbased cedar, it’s difficult to find food out in most areas. This place made a delicious vegetable wrap served with potato chips, but for someone who is really hungry it hit the spot. My brother had a grilled cheese sandwich with the customized with sliced tomato. He liked the coleslaw. We both had a beer.
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, but zero on the vegan they will make you something vegan though if you ask.

Yellow Tavern is THE place to go while in New Harmony. The sear on their steak is perfect every time. CASH ONLY but an ATM is available by the restrooms. A little pricey as everything is a la carte but the food is so good! Everybody raves about their pizza. MUST BE 21

They have a killer Reuben and the onion rings were top notch. The beer selection was better than expected.
Went here for the first time this past weekend and was very pleasantly surprised! The food was great, the service was fast and great and the bathroom was really clean. Will definitely come again!

Friendly bar with great food. An old fashioned town bar serving bottled beer and a simple but excellent menu Open more often than most other places in town and well worth a visit
Luckily, the North Posey high school team had a game, so the atmosphere was relaxed and humming. Pizza was good and Tammy’s chicken breast (gluten-free) was the best she’s had.
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options and the waitress can help you with it.
