Enjoyed lobster cakes and portabella mushroom sandwich and a glass of wine. the foliage in early October was breathtaking in bethel and the surrounding area. We sat in the enclosed terrace--very nice. Service was good.

Just as I said in the title; service, food and atmosphere were all great. Had very nice entertainers two of the nights we were there and watched the football games on Sunday as they had multiple large screen TV's.

Me and my wife stopped in here for an evening meal, which was amazing! portions were generous with a great choice of dishes. Staff and locals were very friendly. Will be back when we're next in the area!

My husband and I came to the Black River Inn for Sunday lunch and it was one if the best pub roasts I've had for a long time. We had a sharing roasts board and it was absolutely delicious! The lady serving us was also lovely and we really enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be back and highly recommend

The Inn is very well located but the hype for the restaurant is not deserved. There was not one dish that I could recommend as above average. The bar seems to be the scene and the drinks were good and very varied.

Very friendly service accompanied by good food. We dined here on a couple of occasions while staying nearby. Full bar and a very decent menu. The lobster rolls and the lobster pie were excellent.

The pizza was delicious. The fish and chips would be hard to beat. Everything was reasonablly priced. The young waiters were polite.

Thank you for a lush birthday lunch with my mum. Your 5 sharing plates including the jug of prawns was amazing quality and value - so nice to have a local eatery doing something different. Will be visiting again for sure!

We visited The Black River Inn not once but twice during our recent stay at a local campsite. It is a fantastic local pub serving very reasonably priced drinks that you can enjoy in the comfy bar area or in the lovely garden (whilst the lovely weather lasts of course). The food is sublime. On a Sunday I highly recommend the roast board for 2. Add to this friendly staff and locals and you have all the makings of a great pub. Can't wait to return next year.
