It's painful to write a review like this, particularly when I have dined here for quite a few years and really enjoyed coming here. You see a business gradually slip into decline and you try to let them know... Had my last meal here mostly by choice, but was actually barred by the owners because I tried to tell them I was displeased with the service. So this started when I wanted to order a gyro. I was told by the waiter that they were out of those. This rather disappointed me because the last 4 times I had dined there they were out of the items I wanted, and I told him so. I ordered a pizza instead and while waiting decided to let the manager know about the apparent lack of availability of their menu items. After which I returned to my table and was visited by one of the owners who asked if I had a question. I suggested we go to a side dining area (trying to be discrete) and discuss it. I explained my frustration at their lack of menu items, particularly the gyro and was told by the owner that gyros actually were available. She also asked if I wanted to be comped for my trouble. I said no, I just wanted them to be aware of their problem and my frustration. Then my meal was delayed because they burned my first pizza and I had to wait for another, and they forgot the chips for the person I was dining with. When leaving I was met by the other owner who informed me not to come back because I was rude to the waiter, manager and other owner. The 3 diners that were with me beg to disagree and all agreed that I was very diplomatic under the circumstances. I refuse to stand for sub-standard service and prefer to let the management know discretely and give them a chance to remedy it on their own without causing a scene or write a bad review on social media. They however decided to make this a personal issue, hence this post. I suggest if you have a bad experience here to let them know about it, but expect that they may receive criticism poorly. Side note - I wasn't planning on returning anyway. Although the staff is friendly, the dining room service has steadily gotten slower as they cater more to the take-out crowd. Also, with the lack of availabilty of "special menu items", there are plenty of other places that serve pizza, burgers and beer.

My family and I just recently tried Archie and Clydes. We've been twice now since Mardi Gras started. The service was great and the food was excellent! It's definitely a new local favorite of ours and I can't believe it took us this long to try it! We were definitely missing out.

service sucks. wasn't even busy. waited 12 minutes before drink orders were taken.then the bill was figured wrong. we told waitress and she said sorry, no offer to correct it. it's Mardi Gras time and we weren't even given or offered a Mardi Gras menu. we got up and got one ourselves. then we heard another waitress saying "I don't understand why nobody is getting Mardi gras."...well we weren't offered it.

By far one of the best casual spots in Newburgh! The food is great, and the prices are as well. So many options under $10.

Table of 4, service great, food so, so. Chicken parm, noodles over cooked, very little sauce, side salad nice n chilled, good quantity.
Spaghetti and meat balls, again noodles over cooked very little sauce for amount of noodles.
Waitress, polite, on top of refills, she knows customer service.
Atmosphere pleasant, clean laboratories.

The first time we ate here. The menu was quite extensive, but the pizza was good. I also tried the Stromboli. While I still like Pizza King's down the road better, this one was also good.

Food was good but it took entirely too long. Hardly anyone sitting down to eat and food took nearly an hour. You can purchase alcoholic beverages at the bar or while seated. Our server really didn’t know the beer menu nor did the Guinness come poured correctly.

Chicken strips are ginormous and worth ordering
