We ordered the garlic toast and it was really good. The boneless catfish filet was also really good. My son loved their cheese pizza as well.

Great little spot with a nice outdoor area. Service was very friendly and helpful. We only had appetizers and drinks. Very chill place.

3 of us Visited on a Monday. GREAT cold beer in a frosty fish bowl was the goal and we got it. The food was fine. We had the blue gill - tasty but the corn sticks were dry and not that great. The creamy coleslaw was fine but not memorable. We also had the Stromboli with fries - again good but not amazing. The place is in need of a deep clean and a spruce up. I’d definitely go back for a frosty beer!

Tasteless meal. We have been stopping when in town for over 20 years. Highly disappointed. Onion rings were burned and not hot, chicken livers were cooked to dry and crumbly. No seasoning at all.

Great spot to grab dinner. I ordered for pick up, and the food was hot and fresh. Tried the fried chicken, potatoe salad and coleslaw slaw. It was great!

I have been a consistent customer for decades, but can no longer recommend and not sure if I will continue to be a patron. Poor service, cold food, and the patio is rarely open for any minor inconvenience like too warm, too cool, and lack of help. So good luck in your experience.

A Newburgh institution. Love the catfish curls! Pork steak was also excellent. The wife loved the spinach salad with salmon.

The food was mediocre, but that's not the concerning part.

The thermostat was set to 85. I overheard a waiter tell someone that the owners won't allow them to adjust it. There was no moving air, and I saw other patrons fanning themselves. This does not seem like a healthy environment for the staff, especially in the summer.

Our waiter was excellent!

DO NOT go here if you have food sensitivities. After waiting a very long time to get our drink order in I said I have to eat gluten free and the waitress said I don’t know what doesn’t have gluten and has no knowledge of what I can even order. Ambivalence to this degree in the food industry which has the ability to kill people by not treating food safety with respect should know better!

Established about 90? Yrs ago. Has been there before I was born and that’s a LONG time. Famous for their catfish fiddlers. Also have good fried chicken and chicken livers.
Quaint family room with fireplace and tables for four (which can be put together for larger group. Seats about 40. Separate small bar, a few bar stools and a few booths. Seats about 20.

I was told to come here and try their must have catfish filets. After a few bites I noticed a sour taste in the filet. I then peeled back the skin to notice a sour smell and a noticeable brown filet. I explained to the manager “Arron” which he proceeded to show his debating side and saying brown catfish is normal.
After this conversation I was granted an (5.00) off a 17.00 dollar filet. Unfortunately I’ll be continuing to eat at finish where the catfish is not brown and also better quantity for your buck. (And when I asked the server to provide how to spell the managers he told her something that made her distressed and she came back with idk and I’m sorry. Fortunately we have the tinfish here in Newburgh that has absolutely amazing and fresh catfish for a better price. Thanks Arron for the terrible experience on trying this place for the first and last time🫶

The food is beyond bad. Tastes institutional at best. The fried chicken was tiny little pieces. They serve instant mashed potatoes, canned green beans, store bought rolls, and Cole slaw from a bucket. If this is your thing, then this is the place for you!
