Amazing restaurant! I had the iskender kebab, and some lavash baloon bread. Both were delicious. The owner, Ahmet, is very kind and all the staff are very helpful. I had to come back the next day for their Turkish coffee and baklava, also amazing. If you are in the area, please stop by, this place is amazing.

Only seconds after entering the doors, I was approached and ushered by the Manager, Ahmed, to a prime spot in the lower left half. Nothing could prepare one for the mouth-watering sauce that surrounded what was far from a traditionally prepared breaded eggplant. I savored every bite, evening it out with dipped balloon bread drizzling the crust with feta and an array of caramelized buttery dressings. With an ample selection of cranberry juice, Turkish coffee, and water; one cannot complain of the Chef of the evening and server (Ali's) personal attention to ensure the holiday meal offered a relaxing, unforgettable night out amidst rising, thick fog and cool drizzle. I am most appreciative of Ali's welcoming conversation and even gallantly gentlemen Vedat's and Delil's passing through to say hello and briefly exchange holiday greetings before I settled the bill and left with a takeout and Traditional Kurdish coffee to enjoy on Christmas morning. Christmas trumpet, woodwinds, and blues were also an added bonus.

Haven't tried the food here yet, just stopped in on a Saturday night at the bar for some cocktails. The smoked old fashioned was phenomenal! The bartender, Kaan, was definitely on point with the drinks. The bar has a calming, soothing vibe to it. I'll definitely be coming back soon.

Just doing a follow up, the food is outstanding as well. Kaan is my favorite bartender ever! He makes the best smoked old fashion.

My wife and I visited Marida Friday night with some friends who have been before. Did not disappoint. The place was clean and sheek. Our server, Ali, was fantastic; personable and professional. Over the course of the meal, we had tried several cocktails between the 4 of us and they were all great. We ordered a family style dinner for 4 that came with a little bit of everything. With so many delicious sounding things on the menu, we felt this was the best bang for the buck to try a variety of items. All the cold plates were wonderful. Never thought eggplant could taste so good. And the meats. Oh the meats. Everything was cooked to perfection and the spices and seasonings were something you just have to experience for yourself. The lamb chop was so tender it came off the bone with a swipe of the fork. The presentation of everything was great. Fun and mystical dry ice gave a fun surprise to our platter when it arrived. And the baklava triangle I ordered for dessert arrived in a wooden box that billowed the dry ice mist upon opening, then Ali prepared/assembled it table side. Only critique I have was that the baklava wasn't as crisp and crunchy as I would have thought. Our friend said the last time he was there and ordered baklava it was about the same. Tasty, but the texture was off. All in all it was a great experience and we will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful meal!
