Been here twice. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both were very good. I would say this is a hidden gem but it's always so packed I can't justify the hidden part. All the food from chicken strips to cheeseburgers to bananas foster French toast and pancakes and sausage was excellent. Highly recommend this for any meal you might need to eat.

Wheelchair accessibility: Bathroom is nearly impossible unless you are ambulatory or in a very small chair. Basically impossible to close the stall door with your chair in there. At least one of the curb cuts is not ADA grade slope. Not sure about others.

This has always been our go to restaurant for breakfast for many years, however, recently the food and service has left much to be desired. The toast is served cold and without butter. And today our hash browns were very cold, not even warm, but just plain cold. Coffee refills were scarce. This food quality has been like this for over a month and we kept hoping it was just a fluke, however, it seems to be the normal now and we will be looking elsewhere for breakfast options

I'm disappointed. Nellie's was a wonderful place to eat, what feels like not too long ago. We came for breakfast. I got a garden omelet and he got country fried steak with hashbrowns and eggs, and a side of pancakes. Starting off, we asked for a water with lemon and a coffee. Our server came back without lemons and creamer. Not a big deal, so I asked again, may I have some lemons for this water and he asked for cream for his coffee. Still none. Eventually my boyfriend finally got up from the patio to go inside and get some. Then our food came. He had to go inside again after asking, and not receiving any butter for the pancakes. I understand a garden omelet is eggwhite and veggies, not super flavorful. However, this omlette was greasy and not tasty at all. And the side of toast I recieved had hardly any butter on it at all. His country fried steak was hardly battered. Basically a grease fried hamburger. He asked for crispy hashbrowns, not burnt hashbrowns.
The overall experience and food was very disappointing. I completely understand it gets busy and rushed. I've worked in food since I was a teenager. However just listening on the patio it seemed like many of the servers including ours, were not able to handle such volume of people.
I would have said something to the manager but it didn't seem to me that it would have mattered. If I had known, I would have stayed home and made breakfast myself.

Wife went and picked us up two Reuben sandwiches and got a side of beans. The taste of the meat on the Reuben was the worst I hate ever had. It was chunky beef which I would have gotten over if it would have tasted good. Everything else about the sandwich was fine. Just the meat was just foil. Not bad or spoiled. just an odd flavor. Nice toast on marbled rye. And decent kraut.
