I have been highly impressed with the staff and products at the “OLD BUTCHER SHOPPE” since it opened. I was a loyal patron of Randy Pierson’s butcher shop and was prepared to be disappointed. But I have instead been well pleased! The Old Butcher Shoppe SMOKES THEIR OWN HAMS AND TURKEY BREASTS. They are delicious!! The bacon is outstanding as are the steaks, rump roasts and pork chops, and chicken. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed !!

Just tried the smoked turkey, it was thebest thing I have tasted in a long time! so juicy and flavorful! They also have the best pimento cheese around! Everything is great! Service is great and very friendly atmosphere! I wouldgive it a 10 star review!

This was my first time stopping in since it changed from rivertown butcher shop. They didn't have nearly the selection as rivertown. Maybe half as much stuff at best. Was disappointed in the selection of brats - they only had 2 kinds. Rivertown always had several different flavors to choose from. Rivertown had this awesome meat rub, and the new owners still sell it, but it is NOT the same. Not even close. Super disappointing - man that stuff was great. Honestly, I wanted to give 2 stars but the staff was really friendly, and I hate "slamming" a place unless it was really bad, which it wasn't. Just nowhere near what rivertown was in my opinion.

I’ve ordered their Saturday BBQ twice now and it is amazing. It’s the best pulled pork and bone-in chicken I’ve had. The brisket is super good as well! I would highly recommend anyone try it! The shop is organized and nice as well.

I used to drive from Yankeetown to Evansville to get, Steak's, Bacon,Sausage,Ground Chuck,and we can't forget the Cheese Sticks, Jalapeno Cheese Ball's, Mushrooms! I could go on and on! Best Meats and sides ever! I couldn't be happier that they are in Newburgh now! See ya soon ?

I purchased a pork butt, two ribeye steaks, and a wagyu ribeye steak. All were absolutely amazing. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I will be returning over and over again.
