I have been highly impressed with the staff and products at the “OLD BUTCHER SHOPPE” since it opened. I was a loyal patron of Randy Pierson’s butcher shop and was prepared to be disappointed. But I have instead been well pleased! The Old Butcher Shoppe SMOKES THEIR OWN HAMS AND TURKEY BREASTS. They are delicious!! The bacon is outstanding as are the steaks, rump roasts and pork chops, and chicken. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed !!
Just tried the smoked turkey, it was thebest thing I have tasted in a long time! so juicy and flavorful! They also have the best pimento cheese around! Everything is great! Service is great and very friendly atmosphere! I wouldgive it a 10 star review!
This was my first time stopping in since it changed from rivertown butcher shop. They didn't have nearly the selection as rivertown. Maybe half as much stuff at best. Was disappointed in the selection of brats - they only had 2 kinds. Rivertown always had several different flavors to choose from. Rivertown had this awesome meat rub, and the new owners still sell it, but it is NOT the same. Not even close. Super disappointing - man that stuff was great. Honestly, I wanted...
