Osaka Hibachi, Ramen, and Sushi

Ordered take out last night. Sushi was excellent! My husband ordered the steak habachi and there was huge pile of rice and he had maybe 8 small pieces of steak and 8 pieces of vegetables was the saddest habachi plate I have ever seen!! Will order sushi here again but don’t waste your money on the habachi!

My good friend Aphrodite and I had our annual Christmas dinner / get-together / Christmas gift exchange at Osaka, again this year.

First of all, this is a great little place, quiet and peaceful.
Great atmosphere.
Not loud and / or obnoxious like some places can be.
The staff at Osaka are very friendly and polite.

Second of all, the food here is amazing!
All sorts of Asian Cuisine is available here, including your usuals, and including Sushi and nigiri and sushi.
House specials are tasty!
Chicken Katsudon is a very good one!
Chicken Oyakodon happens to be my favorite though, with chicken broth, rice, chicken, and egg, along with green onions and sauteed onions.

This night, our 2nd time at Osaka, I stuck with the Chicken Oyakodon.
I also ordered the Dynamite Shrimp for my appetizer and it was so good!

Aphrodite ordered the Hibachi with tofu (and I don't know if tofu is normally allowed for the Hibachi meal but they allowed it for this night).
She also ordered the tempura vegetables, which she said were very good!

I have also ordered from their Indonesian menu before, ordering the Indomie Goreng (fried noodles with fried chicken and a fried egg) and that was incredible!

If you love Asian / Indonesian cuisine, I highly recommend you stop in Osaka in Newburgh, for some great food with great service!

The food is good but I don’t come anymore cause new management got rid of the $9.99 lunch special. I would come in for it at least once a week.

The food is great and the prices are good. If ordering multiple rolls, check out the sushi boats for the best deals.

Delightful in every way. Really fresh sushi with a variety of traditional and unique rolls. Amazing Indonesian dishes are being offered along with traditional Japanese food. The staff is so friendly and attentive and it's a nice laid-back atmosphere.

11 dollar chicken fried rice was literally chicken cut up and dumped on fried rice. Very disappointing.

By far the best Tonkotsu Ramen 🍜 you'll ever have. Rich, creamy broth, either thick tender roasted pork or tempura shrimp 🍤, etc., perfect noodles. Pick 3 other toppings of your choice and don't forget a side of spicy chili oil!
