Absolutely horrible customer service! The young girl with dark hair in a ponytail was cutting my pizzas, I said they both looked burnt, she took her bare hands lifted up 1/2 of one pizza and said rudely that it was not, then looked at another employee rolling her eyes like how dare she question me. Both pizzas are burnt all over the top. Horrible experience and will not be back.

My family and I are from Tampa but we have family up here in Evansville and since my Dad grew up here everytime that we visit this is the absolute first place that we visit because we have to get the Stromboli because it is so amazing and is truly the staple food everytime we come to Indiana. This location in itself is also great because it has a very casual atmosphere so it is a great place to socialize with friends or family without having to worry about holding up a table for waitstaff or being rushed in any way. Overall great food and atmosphere our family loves going here for some killer stromboli.

As a DoorDash delivery driver, I’ve picked up from countless restaurants, and I always aim to remain professional and courteous no matter the circumstances. Unfortunately, my experience today at Pizza King in Newburgh around 5:00 PM was so unsettling that I feel compelled to share it.
Upon arriving to pick up a customer’s order, I was met with unexpected and unprovoked hostility from the two young women working behind the counter. One of them — a blonde employee — aggressively dropped the customers food onto the counter and sharply said, “Here.” Her tone was so harsh and dismissive that I paused, taken aback, and asked if I had done something wrong. I had never interacted with either employee before.
Instead of a respectful response, the blonde employee walked toward the back and shouted, “That’s the order,” then added, “Me and her were just talking about something,” while both employees laughed and exchanged smirks. Their demeanor was openly hostile, dismissive, and unprofessional.
An elderly woman sitting in the store waiting for her order witnessed the interaction. When I turned to her in visible disbelief, she gave me a look of equal confusion, as if to silently say, “What just happened?”
Before leaving, I politely asked about the 2-liter soda that was part of the order — simply to make sure I wasn’t taking anything I shouldn’t. They responded with silent, condescending stares, as if asking a simple clarifying question was an inconvenience.
Despite this experience, I still thanked them and wished them a good day on my way out, hoping they wouldn’t treat the next customer with the same dismissiveness and rudeness.
This incident struck a nerve — not just because I was treated poorly, but because professionalism and basic human kindness should not be optional, especially in customer service. I’ve never been to a Pizza King before, but I can say with certainty I will not be returning to this location, and I would caution others to be prepared for less-than-welcoming service if they choose to visit.

Placed an order tonight and 1 item was a 10” pepperoni pizza. It was over cooked and tasted like it was a frozen pizza. It did not at all taste like their crust and sauce that I love so much. We also got a 16” black olive, beef and mushroom and it was good. We ate 1 piece of the pepperoni one and threw it away.
Great German fries , 3 eggs over medium, biscuit meal. A must try, must give them a try. Waitress was very efficient and friendly. They are all like that and never ending coffee. They can't be beat!.
