We and another couple took a short “road trip” to Newport Indiana. Newport is home to the annual Newport Antique Auto Hill Climb held each fall. It is always crowded for the weekend events. We drove over on a recent Saturday afternoon. The town was almost deserted, but the Newport Tavern was open for lunch.
