All of their bourbons are top tier! Especially the sweet corn bourbon, something like I’ve never tasted. The vodka they recently came out with, is a whole different experience. Such a unique flavor.
Would recommend visiting and doing the tour and tasting. Jason knows his stuff and explains the distilling process very well

It is a very delightful place to visit. It is nestled in a small town surrounded by cornfields. If you’re in the area you must stop in for a visit. The taste of the products are wonderful and well worth the visit.

My job has me traveling around the United States. I am from the Midwest. It's nice to find a great distillery. Is that Old 55 not just family owned. What takes it to the next level is that they are the ones who are planting, growing, and harvesting to make their whiskey and bourbon. From the ground to bottle.
I tried their whiskey and bourbon flight. All were very smooth and very good.
Before leaving, I bought a bottle of their bourbon.
If you have not been to Old 55, you need to make it a point to go.

My husband is into bourbon now, so naturally, we went he found this neat place that we both loved the owners Ashley and Erin were really friendly and outgoing. I quit, don't remember what I tried, but whatever it was, it tasted great. we will definitely be back again later on in the month to try something different.

We drove from Shelbyville, IN (1 1/2hrs) to your distillery on Sunday 12/11/2023. We expected to taste several bourbons & to get a tour of the distillery, per your website. We were able to taste only one bourbon and were asked if we would like a cocktail. I also emailed before driving the distance to ask about a specific bourbon we wanted to purchase, I never received a response, fortunately you did have it in stock. After spending $175.00 on a bottle of bourbon, we left feeling somewhat cheated & very disappointed.
Good bourbon and single malt whiskey. Make sure to get an old fashioned

Wow! Simply a fantastic trip. The folks at Old 55 are amazing and friendly. Its a family run business - from the farm where they get the grains all the way to the distilling. And their product is delicious and unique! I've gotten to visit several distilleries and none offered anything like what Old 55 is crafting. They have a range of bourbons with different mash ratios and states of aging.They offer tours and tastings, as well as a few house cocktails. The tasting room is a good size and they have plenty of games and sitting area around so you can put your feet up and stay awhile.And Maddie the distillery dog truly makes the visit special ;)
