We drove from Shelbyville, IN (1 1/2hrs) to your distillery on Sunday 12/11/2023. We expected to taste several bourbons & to get a tour of the distillery, per your website. We were able to taste only one bourbon and were asked if we would like a cocktail. I also emailed before driving the distance to ask about a specific bourbon we wanted to purchase, I never received a response, fortunately you did have it in stock. After spending $175.00 on a bottle of bourbon, we left feeling somewhat cheated & very disappointed.

Wow! Simply a fantastic trip. The folks at Old 55 are amazing and friendly. Its a family run business - from the farm where they get the grains all the way to the distilling. And their product is delicious and unique! I've gotten to visit several distilleries and none offered anything like what Old 55 is crafting. They have a range of bourbons with different mash ratios and states of aging. They offer tours and tastings, as well as a few house cocktails. The tasting room is a good size and they have plenty of games and sitting area around so you can put your feet up and stay awhile. And Maddie the distillery dog truly makes the visit special ;)

I'm still smacking my lips from the amazing bourbon from this family owned business. Enjoyed the entire experience. Jason is the best tour guide on the planet Earth. Thanks to Ashley, too!

I actually can’t say enough positive about this distillery. It is a family run business, and everybody that was there was extremely friendly and helpful. Their single barrel was excellent and their sweet corn bourbon was very interesting. The mixed drinks were excellent!! We will definitely make the trip again!!

We stopped in on a recommendation; we came out satisfied and carrying our own stock. Let me start off saying that the Bourbon was astronomically flavourful, rich, and a sure full of pizzazz! We had a marvelous experience. Jason gave us an amazing tour with great historical highlights, insight on their distilling processes, and the difference between their many award winning Bourbons and the conglomerate buissness types. The hype is real with this delectable treat. If you're ever in the area a trip to this distillery is a must for any Bourbon fan.

Great family owned bourbon distillery. They make grow their own corn and distill + bottle it all on site. Really nice tour guides who can answer any questions as they are the ones doing everything. One family working on everything. They have the only sweet corn bottled in bond around, they're doing a lot of neat things here and it has a really nice family vibe.

A+++. This family is what bourbon should be about. They care about a quality product, not profits. We spent a good part of the afternoon just sitting, sipping, and learning about their business. Very down to earth folks. Highly recommend taking a nice country drive and visiting. Recommend the barrel proof single barrel and the bottle and bond sweet corn bourbon. A bit pricey, but worth putting on your bar shelf and sipping. Keep it up and stay true to your roots!
