‘Skipping’ to an ER Visit and Home Intimidation Aspen new I remained quiet, though deeply shocked, leading us to believe we were being targeted. —PASTOR Isaac (Issac), “I skipped you guys twice...” —Ashley, Manager (confrontationally) The manager, Ashley, would not stop loudly gossiping about us for inquiring why an hour was added to our wait time and being skipped, continually provoking us in every way possible. Every time the pastor and his family tried to ignore the situation peacefully, Ashley, would loudly talk about us again without any control, provoking all of us, leaving all of us in shock if there is even management that exists in this place. The pastor family continued to question why she is being rude to us. We asked multiple times for upper management, yet were told with a confrontational smile by Jacob, “not right now!” They ensured they humiliated us, including the pastor family. By the time we were seated, there nearly no one else waiting with plenty of open tables. Our party has a combined restaurant work experience of nearly 2 decades, and we dine out often. We have never seen anything like we have seen here. Director John Swope (who has an interesting history) said he expects the pastor “is in line to forgive” after being targeted and then dismissed. My wife’s sobbing for harassing as “women’s hormones,” implying her distress was merely pregnancy emotions after his attack on us, justifying his employees’ actions. We have clearly rejected providing our address for vouchers, yet John Swope continued to contract us at our address to silence us, intimidating my pregnant wife AGAIN. John Swope, who claimed to be “experienced” leader, could not provide a guarantee that what happened to us wouldn’t happen again. Instead, he just asked us to go again without even having a manager or someone ensuring similar experiences don’t happen again to us. Ashley and the company even violated the written guidelines written by Aspen Creek in order to skip us. Then they claimed she was not the one who sat us, then who was yelling saying “I skipped you twice!” who continued to slam items, including her name written on a note when we extended our hand out to receive the paper, ensuring the pastor knows he is being disrespected, yet John Swope expects the pastor to “forgive”! The fact that they change their statements often only proves we were targeted. No proper leadership. Jacob and Ashley came up with policies that no one in the company can clarify until now. What they are good at is organizing themselves well to team up and harass the customers, as others say possibly based on our skin color or because we had a pastor with us. Instead of anyone handling the matter properly, deescalating, or trying to make the situation right, the restaurant leadership teamed up to ensure the experience is full of harassment. A complaint about the food quality was handled by a female employee we didn’t interact with before, showing she was directed against us. How dare we question policies that don’t exist, where John Swope couldn’t explain even after conducting his “investigation”, instead being busy targeting those who express their opinions. Ashley, with previous similar complaints, was not just directly rude to us, but even rude and bossy to other employees, which is likely why she is not held accountable because she is controlling others as to what is expected from her. As stated by John Swope, his “full investigation” was “acouple of quick phone calls”, coming up with claims while relying on “perception is reality”, perception of assault claims is a “reality”, can only become a director in an organization that tolerates twisted behaviors. Our Perception is Aspen Creek promotes hates, discrimination, and violence especially against minorities. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be a manager acting in this manner, and director justifying. Any negative review in John Swope’s eyes is fake, if it resembles our experience- then we don’t know the details of what happened. But we did see something we have never seen before of uncontroll
They used to be good, now food is nasty, disgusting and confrontational lady is supposedly a manager named Ashley, no real management in place
Always a great experience!! Fast and excellent quality. Emilee was fantastic and so sweet!
I have been going to Aspen Creek ever since they first opened the doors. My special highlight is everything about the restaurant. The food is always great! the servers treat you like family. It's a comfortable place to relax to eat whether it's a special occasion or how to finish a busy day from errands, dr appointments ( which I do alot) you leave there satisfied and rest when you get home. This is my very favorite place to eat, here in Indiana and other states that I have traveled. I highly recommend Aspen Creek, you will be hooked and happy. I must give a big thank you to the managers, Ashley and the others to see that every customer is treated great.😀

We usually love it but tonight was terrible. My brides food was wrong so oredered it over again. Over 30 minutes later it came back but not the way ordered. I didn’t receive my side with my meal and the waitress was unapologetic.

This was our first visit to an Aspen Creek Grill, so we didn't know what to expect. What we found was a large menu full of homestyle comfort foods, salads, and sandwiches and more.
The tenderloin sandwiches were AMAZING, as was the country fried steak! The green Chile queso was outstanding, as well. We had no room for dessert--the portions were huge.
Our server was very attentive and all of the waitstaff was smiling and friendly. It was nice!
The prices are lower than you would expect and the food quality much higher. We will definitely be back, and soon!

Overall a pretty solid restaurant for a chain. The food is typically pretty consistent with most options rating between above average to good.
The service has always been consistently good at this restaurant.
Additional patio seating has decreased the long wait times.
