The signage at the entrance is clearer for Broccoli Bill's which shares the building; more apparent than the "Slapfish" sign. But it's alongside Gray Rd. in a more residential than commercial area, so not really difficult to pick out. Parking is ample, and the spaces inside (one for BB, a connected space for Slapfish) are clean & tidy. Seating is not fancy, but clean as a whistle -- and you do NOT have to bus your table after eating. The management and the cooks there are skilled, and one thing so nice to find is that they don't over-season anything. We're getting tired of over-salted restaurant foods, so will happily return to Slapfish, where you can add your own salt to taste. The Fish 'n Chips -- three rectangles of crispy cod -- were hot, delicious, fresh little filets. You can order your fish for F & C grilled, if you prefer. We happen to get cravings for the classic fried fish, just like F & C are in Great Britain and New England, so we didn't find the coating too thick, and it wasn't overly greasy ... most important, you could tell that the oil in which it was fried was NOT old. Also, a salad with added Mahi Mahi, which was a very generously sized salad with plenty of variety of veg, and a pretty presentation. The Mahi Mahi (in the Fish 'industry', it used to be called Orange Roughy -- just FYI) was grilled or whatever -- not fried -- and was delicious. Also tried a side of their Coleslaw, which was top notch, and very fresh -- not tiny bits of cabbage and carrot, but nice shreds, adding more crunch and flavor. You can choose to have this slaw substitute for the chips ... which does make that meal healthier. Also tried the clam chowder, which was pretty good, actually, but not a great value for the bucks (it's really easy to make a good chowder at home, so maybe that's what makes $10/bowl seem a tad high). Friendly, efficient service, ordering at the front counter and then your food is delivered to your table.

I am visiting mom. I have taken her 3 times with my brother suggesting it. Each time I have gotten something different. Each time I have not been disappointed. People are friendly, service is great and food is heavenly! I would definitely recommend this place. We went to the one in Noblesville, Indiana.

Delicious, affordable seafood in a fun, casual setting. Perfect amount of options on the menu. We ordered the grilled cheese (the best!), fish tacos, protein salad and lobster dip. Everything tasted great and was uniquely seasoned so it was fun to share plates. Attentive service. Very clean. Great experience!

Friends of our had been here first, told us about their fish and chips. They have a nice selection of fresh fish from which to choose, but we only got their "main" fish and chips offering. Nice job on cooking, batter was just a bit thick. Good size servings of fries. Quick service (order at the counter and they bring it to your table). Lots of seats inside.

My wife and I went there today. We split a Lobster Roll. Very, very good. I am from New England. If you miss a great roll, try this place. Quick service and friendly. Pricy, yes. Get what you pay for, yes.

Four of us went for lunch today. I had the fish and chips and we also ordered salad with choice of fish and shrimp burrito. Everything was fantastic and reasonably priced. A new favorite place for fish!

It might be just a bit pricey, but the food, staff, and tea were terrific. There were fries in my Mediterranean Sea Salad, a creative twist on a mostly healthy fish and veggie dish. Overall, totally worth it and highly recommended!

We love Slapfish!! First time. had their lobster roll and clam chowder. Both excellent! This past week we both had their ultimate shrimp taco and coleslaw. Both were delicious. Being from New England, we feel we've found our "go to" for a bit of seafood!

My wife and I stopped in here while in the area and looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite. This place fit the bill to a T. I had a great lobster roll with a cup of clam chowder while the wife had a shrimp burrito. Everything was just exceptional. Kind of pricey, but for what we had and the quality, cannot argue with a little cost. Highly recommend if you are in the area and also check out Broccoli Bill's which is located in the same building.

Quality lobster roll when you can’t escape to Maine! Lobster dip and chips are a nice surprise as well. Clean and friendly atmosphere.

Seafood in an Indy suburb? Sure, why not! This place is a few minutes off the 465 highway but worth the detour. It shares a building with a deli and a small market. I had the lobster roll and fries. Market priced, it was $24 on the day I visited. I like a warm lobster roll and that is how this is served. Split top bun just like in the Northeast only much bigger and thicker. Portion of lobster was good, and quality okay considering Indy is a landlocked city. What spoiled my meal was the fact that the cartilage hadn’t been removed. Just my bad luck maybe? I’ll definitely stop here again when back in town.

Love Broccoli Bills, but I went after their hours said they were open. The doors were open but absolutely nobody was around. I was sad because the peaches smelled so good.

Loved the Hawaiian Bowl and the Grilled Fish Bowl. Fish tacos are also great there. Prices are so reasonable for fresh seafood and service is great. Yummy key lime pie from Hot Toddy’s in the back and fresh veggies for the week from Broccoli Bill’s. Highly recommend!

We started our road trip last Saturday and drove quite a bit out of our way to try this restaurant. It was good. The lobster sandwich I had looked great and the lobster seemed fresh and plentiful. I just wasn't wowed like I thought I would be. I'd probably give it a second try though if I lived in the area.
