I came here mostly to try the clam chowder but ended up getting their lobster mac n’ cheese as well. The clam chowder was a bit disappointing not only in terms of the size but also the flavor. It was just not that tasty and seemed a bit under seasoned—and I’m not someone that goes all out on salt to begin with. The lobster mac n’ cheese was probably the saving grace but to be honest, I think it would have tasted better without the lobster. For the price of both of the items, the amount of clam or lobster doesn’t seem to justify it, at least not for me. Given the price point, I would have expected more and also would have expected sit down service. It was more of an express order type of place. The wait staff were amazing though so remember to tip.

I usually have had good food here, but last night was drastically different. First the fish and chips was horrible. I had two pieces of fish that basically had no fish in them, just batter. The lobster deviled eggs had hardly no lobster in them at all. The clam chowder was excellent but the cup size has gotten smaller. The lobster roll my wife had no real meat to it just buckle and claw pieces. Had we not been in a hurry I would have taken it all back. Very disappointed.

My son had the lobster burger. He usually tears up his food in record time, but this was just average. He said there was just something off on the taste. I had this ceviche and I’ve never had ceviche like this. It tasted like tomato soup with shrimp and a couple vegetables floating in it. It wasn’t good.

The food is amazing!! The poke bowl is so yummy.....fish, salad, rice, chips, and sauce. I have never had a bad dish at slapfish! Fish is so fresh and priced very reasonably. The outdoor patio is great; however, they could add some live music on the weekends to enhance the ambiance.
It's amazing that you can get a fish or any type of fish or salad type of preparation including clam chowder and lobster bisque. This little gem of a restaurant is an incredible find. You can get incredible value as well as extremely good seafood. Everything is fresh taste incredibly good for the price point. If you have not been to this restaurant yet make it one of your stops in the near future. Their fish sandwich, fish and chips and clam chowder are all excellent.
