We had booked a high top in the bar. When we got there there was no hostess. When she appeared she told us that high tops in the bar were not available would a general table in the main room be ok. ? We agreed and then she told us it wasn't ready yet give us a few minutes. After a while we noticed the hostess preparing a table. Another hostess suddenly appeared and took us to the table. But the new hostess (blonde) had a horrible attitude. She obviously didn't want to be there. At least we were seated. The waiter passed by a couple of times “ I will be right with you”. When he eventually arrived we ordered a glass of wine each. It took ages to get there. We had a 7.30 appt and the drinks did not get to us until 8 with all the delays. Then after a while the waiter came to take our order. By the way we are out of mashed potatoes. What? We thought. Never heard that one before.... The cheapest ingredients they purchase? Oh well. So we finally placed our order. Crab cakes as an appetizer seemed good. Sorry we are out of those too. The manager happened to stop by our table to fill up water glasses. So I asked him. Is there anything else you are out of? He confirmed no. I asked him that it seemed unusual to run out of mashed potatoes and perhaps someone should have gone to the store. He replied” Do you realize how long it takes to make mashed potatoes?” I bit my tongue and decided to say nothing further. They were obviously having a very bad day! But the food we did order was excellent and we enjoyed it. Poor training in front of house is my impression. Perhaps short of staff. Not sure. But this was not what we have experienced in the past. Hopefully it was just a bad day.

Our reservation was at 6:15 and we arrived at 6pm and were seated. We waited a very long time for our food and didn't end up settling the check till 8:45pm. Our appetizer and drinks and desserts were comped but no explanation was ever given for the excruciating wait.

Food, wine and drinks were good. Not much mashed potatoes with Lamb Osso Buca. We did not get drinks for 15 minutes and salads for 30 minutes. Service was weak. One waiter had over 6 tables.

Great ambiance with a quality steak. The truffle fries were awesome as well. Baklava is normally not my thing, but this one was excellent. I highly recommend getting a piece. Service was great as well; servers were very attentive.

We had a wonderful experience at the Nesst for our anniversary. My husband and I both had their steak special. The steak was cooked to our liking and was very tasty. The service was excellent. We chose to dine in the bar where they have entertainment every Tuesday. The ambiance is hard to beat here. We will be going back again.

Enjoyed a relaxing fine dining experience with our granddaughters. This is our third experience at Nesst and the best so far. Can't wait to visit again as the filets are incredible.
