The service here was subpar at best. We were at the restaurant for about an hour and saw our waitress twice. We had to ask someone else for bread for the table, our waters refilled, and another set of drinks - and then didn't get any of those things. The food was really delicious! But it was a disappointing experience and not worth the money. We won't return.

We just finished dinner at The Nesst. We heard wonderful things about it but our experience was mid. It was okay, but left a lot to be desired.
1. We made a reservation, but we were offered a table at the bar. No, thanks. They didn’t plan seat us in the exterior dining room at a table.
2. We each ordered a filet medium rare. My husband’s was cooked perfectly, but mine was overcooked. Unfortunately, server never checked on us, so I slogged through it, and then ate some of my husband’s. World of difference.
3. The wine I requested with dinner arrived halfway through my steak. Okay, but did not allow me to enjoy it.
4. Manager came AFTER we had finished, saw that the steak was not cooked properly and offered us baklava to make up for it. Nice, but we didn’t want dessert at this point. I’ve worked at lesser restaurants that would have made a point of sending the manager over simply because it was our anniversary. Not their job, but definitely not a place that made me feel special on a special occasion.
Overall, okay, but I expected more after so many raves. It was loud (maybe better in the main dining room), service was slow and not particularly attentive, management did not make us feel like they cared and the food was just okay. Next time I’ll try Cooper & Cow. Okay, but I hope they will provide better service if I return.

Wow! Just finished dinner here. It was our 28th anniversary and the first time we have eaten here. I’d heard wonderful things so was disappointed. 1. My steak was overcooked. Ordered it medium rare but it came medium/medium well. My husband’s came true to temp and once I tasted his understood why he was having a better experience. 2. Service was slow. I would have had my steak recooked but the server wasn’t back in time to check on us. I had asked for wine with my steak but had slogged through half before it came. 3. Manager came to check on us once we were done (made it to the table next to us much sooner), and offered us baklava when he saw how poorly my steak was cooked compared to my husband’s. 4. We were offered a seat at the bar. What? I made this reservation and told them it was our anniversary. They didn’t plan for this? Overall, a very mid experience for a special occasion. Not bad, but definitely not what I expected. My husband and I have worked in a lot of restaurants so have reasonable expectations. The cardinal rule was no matter what we didn’t want a guest to leave feeling disappointed. Doesn’t seem like the Nesst feels the same way. Would I try it again? Maybe, but not in a rush. Mostly a service issue by waitstaff and management.

Drinks were fine. Caesar salad delicious. My steak, I asked for medium rare. It was about as rare as a steak can get after obviously being grilled 2 sides. My fiance ordered salmon and it too was raw in the middle. We sent both back. I HATE doing that, but it was necessary for food safety. The waitress (Kendra) was apologetic for it (not her fault) and the Manager slipped by to apologize briefly. After a few minutes both were returned to us. Typically the person delivering the re-cooked items will wait to ensure doneness was achieved. They didn't. They should have. The salmon was still dark red and shiny. My steak was still very rare. I can eat steak under cooked some vs over cooked. Fish however isn't that easy. She now had pretty much destroyed the chances of the salmon being cooked a 3rd time by cutting into it twice. The Manager then proceeded to disagree with us about weather the fish was cooked. "I would have to taste it to tell if it was done" he said. No, actually they make thermometers for THAT operation Mr Manager. He also disagreed about my doneness. He was nice, but the fact we told him "We're not looking for free meals. We just don't want to pay for meat that's had to go to the kitchen 3 times. Especially not around $100. He credited us for the meat only. That's fine. It was a Valentines Day special dinner I had planned weeks in advance. We ended up just getting a Jommy John's sub and heading home. I did make sure to tip the waitress the same amount she would have gotten IF we could have eaten the whole meal. It wasn't her fault. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We chose Nesst because of the extensive gluten-free items on the menu. The staff was attentive, but we had to keep reminding the my granddaughter’s need for gluten-free. She ended up receiving a dessert that contained gluten. Of course everyone was very apologetic, but it did not help with the aftermath of her being sick and missing two important days at university. Our family of seven and friends who have severe food allergies will not be returning.

The Nesst has beautiful decor to it and our waitress was very nice. The food was OK though. At the price point it is, I would've expected more flavor. The charcuterie board, though beautifully displayed, had a lot of other items that we just don't like. I think cheese was maybe 15% of the board, 20% meats, and the rest consisted of mushrooms, pickles, hot peppers, a cheese dip, and apricots. Kind of disappointing.

my partner and I came here for our anniversary as the reviews and menu looked amazing. Sadly it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Our waiter was an older man with no sense of humor. My boyfriend tried to joke iwth hiim about potatoe soup as he is a sous chef and the waiter was just rude. I ordered the filet medallions and they came out overcooked and tough - my first bite was gristle. Filet medallions should cut like butter. I oredered them med-rare and they came out almost well done. I sat and watched my boyfriend eat while I waited for them to cook another. I ordered a glass of wine with my meal and had to wait on that. I finally got the second order and ONE of the medallions was cooked semi-ok. Themanager aske dme to cut into it and I did. It seemed to be cooked better but the other two were still horrible. Yet we were treated like an inconvenience for having high expectations and when we told the server we were restaurant people he said "well then you should understand" . No it means we know how service is SUPPOSED to be. They comped my meal and we still paid over $100 for a horrible experience. Never again. NEVER again.

The food, the service and the cocktails were all great. The "atomic blonde" cocktail is delicious. Chris was our server, and he did a good job. Very attentive.

Don’t come here! This place is bougie in side but not well with food. When we waited for our food it was a hour wait for a full burnt hamburger, she said sorry for the inconvenience and said that there were some new teen chefs. We waited around 40 mins for another black burnt hamburger.
The chips are always over seasoned and the servers are also ways super rude don’t come here it’s nasty

DELICIOUS!! We had a wonderful night of great food and drinks. The service was fantastic and never had an empty glass. We sat at a high top in the bar, and enjoyed the views. We will be back… keep our table open!
