She made a cake for my son’s first birthday half banana half strawberry it was amazing everyone loved it! 10/10!

My daughter ordered her wedding shower cupcakes and wedding cake from Over the Top bakery and both were amazing!! The hummingbird cake was hands down the best cake I’ve ever had and the cake was decorated beautifully! Thank you so much for excellent quality and service!

After finding nothing but fast food in nearby Walkerton, we continued on to North Liberty to try this bakery and it's an absolute gem. Great country cooking, excellent breakfast, yummy treats, and attentive service.

The most perfect small-town bakery/cafe. Super friendly, hard-working, and amazing food. Wish they served the tea by the gallon. They have a variety of donuts, pies, breads, and café-style breakfast and lunch items. All amazing! And the price is definitely lower than anyone I've found near the South Bend area. Try it once, and you'll be back again and again.

So I was born and raised in North Liberty util the sixth grade and then we moved away. I recently moved back to this nice little town last fall. I had totally forgotten about this little bakery until one of my friends told me how great there donuts were.
I have to be honest, I thought for sure that being in a small town that they would be very pricy. ?‍♂️?‍♂️
I went is this morning and got two very big donuts and was presently surprise that it was only $3.
The place was clean and very well decorated. The two ladies behind the counter were very friendly and met me with a smile.
When I got to my truck and took that first bite I was in heaven because they were still warm inside and probably the best donuts I have ever eaten.
Of course I can't speak for anything else that they make there (Not yet anyways) but I can tell you that I am glad that I gave them a chance because they just earned a life long customer and I will tell everyone I know about this little hidden gem!

Wow, what a great bakery in a small town! Great sandwiches in addition to 'Over The Top' baked goods. So happy we found this gem of a place near Potato Creek State Park.

I found myself downtown North Liberty this week on a whim. The shops down there are impressive by any standard. I had a chocolate frosted Bavarian cream donut. It was the best one ever. I brought my husband one with cream. He said it was comparable to Horst Bakery in Madison!

I cannot even begin to describe how happy I was with our order! My son turned 7 this year and he wanted donuts instead of cake! We ordered 3 dozen donuts with a red, white & blue baseball theme to match his party. THEY. WERE. PERFECT. My boy’s face lit up when he saw them! ? Thank you, Over The Top Bakery! We will be back very soon! Amazing, friendly service. Extremely reasonable prices. Perfection!
