Have to drop to two stars here. They only got two because the cookies were excellent. The bread did not seem fresh. Then of course there's the lady at the counter that's bucking for tips. I'm sorry, you don't deserve a tip for ringing up a loaf of bread and cookies!!! This is just greed!!! I generally avoid going in there because of this practice. I mean she will literally point out the tip button on the screen.

Love this place. Sweet, friendly ladies baking up delectable concoctions. We picked up a pumpkin roll and were not disappointed! The best we have ever had. Great donuts and muffins, too! Pleasant atmosphere.

I found myself downtown North Liberty this week on a whim. The shops down there are impressive by any standard. I had a chocolate frosted Bavarian cream donut. It was the best one ever. I brought my husband one with cream. He said it was comparable to Horst Bakery in Madison!

I cannot even begin to describe how happy I was with our order! My son turned 7 this year and he wanted donuts instead of cake! We ordered 3 dozen donuts with a red, white & blue baseball theme to match his party. THEY. WERE. PERFECT. My boy’s face lit up when he saw them! ? Thank you, Over The Top Bakery! We will be back very soon! Amazing, friendly service. Extremely reasonable prices. Perfection!

We visited OTT after Gail at Potato Creek told us they had the best donuts. Our camping trip did not go to plan, but we decided to stop for donuts after packing up in the rain. My husband got three donuts and two drinks while I waited in the car with our two kids. When he got back he said “that is a really cute place. Really nice.” We quickly handed out the donuts (a pink sprinkle was split between my boys), and within seconds my four-year-old says “dad, this is the best frosting I’ve ever tasted!” My husband kept saying how fluffy and light they were! Mine did not last long either. Our drinks are also delicious and we couldn’t believe the affordable prices! Over the Top is now a must-stop when we visit Potato Creek!

Stopped for a quick lunch and goodies. Great food…very fresh and excellent service. Loved the outdoor seating! Finished the visit with an amazing slice of pie, with cookies and bread for the road!

This bakery/restaurant is excellent! They have a large selection of fresh baked breads, great fresh donut's, tasty cupcakes and cookies and other great tasting baked offerings. They also have great quality breakfast and lunch. Skip Walmart for birthday cakes and cupcakes and order them from Over The Top. They will be baked fresh and delicious. The ladies behind the counter are so friendly and great. It will be well worth your trip!
I've only had the cookies and donuts from here, they were absolutely delicious, I highly recommend trying their baked goods! The menu overall is impressive and fairly priced, went 3 days in a row with my kids and will be going back again and again!

I drove from South Bend to try their paczkis. It was worth the drive. I bought some for the whole family and everyone loved them. While I was there, I grabbed a couple breakfast sandwiches to go. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was huge. They have a decent menu if you are looking for breakfast or lunch. The staff member who took my order was very friendly and welcoming. Did I mention you can order your treats online? That was a perk for me. If you are in the area or up for a drive, stop in for a quick bite or treat. You will not be disappointed.
