Tenderloins were superb! Service awful!! Empty glasses and no one checked on us to see if everything okay. Poorest Service in 10 years. We won't come back. Not one person said hello and everyone just stared at us!!
This is such the iconic definition of awesome “hole in the wall.” Phenomenal food at phenomenal prices. I grew up in Indiana, obviously knowing that Mr Dave’s was the best pork tenderloin in the state, and holy cow was I SO wrong. I’ve never had even a mediocre meal at the inn. I agree with other reviewers that the service can be kind of hit or miss, but so is service anywhere else.
I was told the pork tenderloin was good. And it was! I usually like the thinner crispy versions. But while this one was a bit thicker, it truly was tender and flavorful. They also make plenty of other things in-house vs just throwing premade items in a fryer or opening a jar.
