This place is what sums up hometown Tavern. It is very large with lots of seating. The bartenders are down to Earth, friendly and fun. They learn your name and usually, what you drink. They have: pool, shuffleboard, cards, music and gambling. It is an awesome place for adults to gather and have a great time! The kitchen is open for lunch and dinner. Being a non smoker it was hard for me to get past the intoxicating cloud of smoke that lingered. But it appeared to be a local favorite of a friend so I was almost forced to try it.The atmosphere is dead. Just a bunch of people that appeared to be waiting in line for their coffins.I was the youngest person in the building at 30 years old. And that’s certainly not a problem.But the carpet, tables and overall atmosphere could use a re vamp to say the least.Ordered the side cheese...
Met there with a group of friends they don't open till 1 p.m. on the weekdays the kitchen doesn't open until 4. Sharon was so sweet and seeing that there were seven in our group she got permission to open the kitchen. The food was normal bar food but with the added extra love that Sharon added to the whole visit it tasted that much better.
