We get takeout all the time. The food and service are good. I have never dined in, so I don't know how the atmosphere is.

This place was a fabulous find as we making tracks in Paoli. The very best in hometown service! We were welcomed the moment we opened the door. Christian owned and operated. The entire staff works together on Saturday mornings to best serve all their customers, since the breakfast bar is so very popular. Let me just tell you why: homemade flour gravy and just about everything else! French Toast, warm syrup, wraps, hashbrown casserole bacon and so, so much more! Do yourself a favor and make time to stop by this great place!!Kid-friendliness: Very family oriented. Chatted with several local families dining in. Staff were all extremely child friendly, going out of their way to provide little ones special care.Parking: Wide open space! Gravel lot.

Great little diner. Come in for breakfast and/or lunch a few times a week. This is one of those little diners where you are known by name and the staff is happy to see you.

Yummy food! I had to wait 5-7 minutes just to pay for a phone order. Just seemed a bit slow to me. Other than that minor inconvenience, pretty good place.

Just a very neat, local place to have breakfast or lunch. The are close to Paoli Peaks and, despite a somewhat recent coat of paint, still feel like a traditional, old-style diner. Our server was very attentive and helpful and, overall, the prices were great, lots of food and a great value. The monster burger was very tasty, although a bit overcooked. My fried steak was nicely done as well. The star of the meal, however, was the pork tenderloin sandwich, an Indiana tradition that was just amazing at HAP's. A massive portion of pork, fried to perfection, with a flaky crust. They also have freshly made pies and cakes, and all had good taste, large portions, and a low price. Highly recommended!

We stayed at French Lick Resort for a few days. This is a bit of a drive but worth it. Best place we ate the whole trip. Great service, great food!

Great food. I had the chicken fried steak and biscuit-n-gravy. My wife had the breakfast bowl. Both were wonderful. We even came back later to take a piece of the peanut butter pie home. It was excellent. We'll go back. Look forward to trying their other food.

The fish was excellent! Not greasy at all. Baked potato was just right and the peanut butter pie was superb ! The service was outstanding as well.

Food was good, except the biscuits where a tad dry. Got the breakfast bowl and there was alot of grease. Miss the Ritz.

Best breakfast in Paoli, without a doubt! Friendly and fast staff treat you like you belong there. Portions are big enough to feed a whole family at a very reasonable price, so bring an appetite.
