Catello’s Italian Art Cuisine

I made a reservation online for the cheese wheel pasta experience. We were SO excited for this. We drove 40 minutes here, just to be told they would not be doing it because they were too busy. We were going to stay anyways, but because the staff was rude and handled the situation so poorly, we left after we finished our drinks. Horrible experience.

We took my wife's sister here, who is from New York City and used to some pretty great Italian restaurants. She was very impressed by Catello's, as were my wife and I. The food, service and atmosphere were all top notch!

I am Italian, living in Indiana for 3 years now and the Italian food at catellos was the best I’ve had so far.
I loved the live music, perfect ambience, and the Parmesan pasta!!! Molto bene.

Had a reservation, but entire place was crowded due to homecoming in the area. Small dining area so the noise level was pretty high. Service seemed stressed and so dinner was a bit awkward with moods around us. Kinda like they were annoyed we were there. Food was just ok for the pricing. The appetizer (burrata pastry puff) was the best thing we had. Fresh bread for the tables was nice, but no oil or butter to dip, just dry bread. Also, we sat outside since dining area was so crowded...not the restaurants fault, but the constant cars honking and loud motorcycles weren't great. For the price I wouldn't go back.

I wanted to love my catello's experience but it just wasn't great. I ordered the lasagna, Bolognese and it wasn't my favorite. They had a live piano player who was wonderful. The lighting and ambience were very inviting and peaceful. The biggest problem was the service. It was painfully bad. Every other table was left with a bottle of water but I had to flag down staff 3 times to finally get a single refill. Our waitress never checked on us. After waiting for 40 minutes, we had to ask for our salads and we were simply told “they should have already come out.” So, we got all of our food at the same time. We had planned on getting dessert but again, no wait staff and no one asked if we'd like to order dessert. They do have a cheese wheel that looks very interesting, so, I'd try the place again in hopes that it was just an off night tonight.

We took grandma with us and all of us enjoyed everything very much. I see they have been getting stellar reviews for a long time, so mine can’t really add anything new except to confirm the good reviews. Good service, tasty good food, pleasant peaceful atmosphere in a nice homey town.

My family loves what Catello Family has accomplished ... Small Town Vibe with the most authentic Italian we have found in Indy.. The menu is exciting and very fairly priced, service warm, friendly and very knowledgable as from the Old World. Wine List perfect and also great prices.. Its worth the drive. Bravo

The food and service were excellent. Catello's is a trip to Italy that is only 20 minutes from home. Would recommend to anyone who wants real Italian food and will definitely be back again and again!

The 2 men playing and singing were excellent. Nice music selection, and we could still hear ourselves talking to one another.
Our waiter was attentive and pleasant.
The food was far below par especially considering the price. I sent my food back because it was cold it was returned so hot I couldn't eat it.vthete was so much tomato
sauce on it that was all I could taste and it wasn't even great sauce. We also waited at least 30 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. We will not be returning it and would not suggest it to others. Spend your hard earned money someplace you can trust.

Best authentic Italian food in Central Indiana with a quaint European atmosphere. Chiarra provided delightful service with a warm and caring attitude. We have made this a routine date night favorite.
