Feels like visiting your movie grandmother. I can't tell exactly why but maybe it was walking onto the front porch before you enter. Maybe the wonderful smiling face of the older lady who took my order. Could be the soft piano music in the background. All of it was a calm peaceful atmosphere that slowed me down after an already busy morning. I got the nutty professor and it was delivered to me in a big mug with brought me so much joy. It's the little things. My Benedict waffle was very good and the hollendase was pretty good and when I cut into the poached egg it ran beautifully over the ham and waffles. The waffles could use a bit of sweetness to the batterI but they were big and I would have loved a small side of syrup or preserves to finish them off. I will be back for sure, hope to see you there

I come here often to catch up with one of my best friends, and we always choose to sit outside, sip their amazing coffee, and just slow down for a bit. We were elated to find a coffee shop/ bistro with so many gluten free options! The gluten free liege waffle was excellent, as was the gf blackberry scone! The owner and employee were so friendly and hospitable. My americano coffee drink was perfect. It is in a beautiful old house just walking distance from Falls Park, plenty of street parking in the area. Highly recommend this little local gem!
