Fast delivery, fast turn over. Same food I remembered from working at one in 2012 in NC. Only thing missing was the fans running nonstop because smoking inside isn't legal anymore. Joy was a delight as a waitress and it was cool to hear her talk about when her mom worked there, around the same time I did. It's fast, friendly, and that travel food you so crave after hours on the road.

5 star experience. Fast, friendly and fresh. Jennifer. Jerrica, Jamie and tad had welcomed us, were prompt in getting drinks and taking our order. Clean facility with the expected waffle house environment .
So a fifth of my t-bone was raw. I told the lady about it when I went to pay and she didn't bother to give me a refund or say anything, but oh I'm sorry about that. She told me I should have said something and they would have put it back on the grill. Well most of that was in my mouth that I had to spit out, I don't think that would have been appetizing to recook the meat that I spit out!

To quote the exceptional icon Nicole Kidman, “we come to this place for magic”. And magic was exactly what we found at this Waffle House. For our party of 3, it was a first time at any of these fine establishments. You’re greeted by the nostalgic familiarity of a traditional diner scene. We sat at the right corner booth, and with your back to the exterior wall, you’ll find a lovely view of both the diner and the maturing corn outside. The farm field aesthetic elevates the ambiance of the space. It reminds you that you are truly and most definitely, home. Toni took our orders with a balance of patience and enthusiasm as we reveled at the many delights laminated before us. Oh what to choose? Oh what to indulge in! Our group decided on a BEC, two egg breakfast, along with hash brown staples and a single chocolate chip pancake. The delicacies were cooked to order and arrived promptly at the perfect temperature. The only reason the food score received a 4/5 is because the chocolate chips were not baked into the waffle, rather they adorned the crisp surface. We admire the commitment to the true diner experience, we watched many a local come, enjoy a steamy cup of joe and cup of the latest gossip, devour an omelette, only to depart a happy customer. The bathroom? Well, it’s functional. Although the competent and kind staff won’t win any style points for the decor or curb appeal, it got the job done. Paying was a breeze, and upon exit, you’ll find a calming and serene water feature in the middle of a nearby pond. How lucky would we have been to sit for hours, appreciating the meal we just shared and discussing the staying power of this American Institution all as sunlight glistened on the water and local flora and fauna danced in the wind. They say Waffle Houses stay open even during Cat 5 hurricanes, and if they can survive both that and 3 fiends at 8 am the morning after an Avril Lavigne concert, they truly can survive anything. God Bless America and God Bless old momma waffle. Bless her heart and her stomach. Amen.
