Hidden gem. Family style meal is the way to go. Fried chicken, roast beef and gnocchi were amazing. Service was prompt and friendly. Surprised at how little it cost to feed eight of us.
I placed an order for our Christmas party to be picked up cold on Saturday at 4:00, knowing it would need to be fixed a day early because they don’t open until 4:00. I was fine with that. I arrived at 4:00 to pick up my cold order. I was headed to another party so expecting to run in and pick up my order quickly. Come to find out, they hadn’t even fixed it! The cooks had just arrived, the equipment wasn’t turned on and the server said she could call me when it was ready....
We love Hoosier Roots! The staff is great and the food is amazing. The menu has a one thing we always get and I can't stop thinking about for days afterwards: brussel sprouts! The rest of the menu is as unique as it is delicious. The venue itself is pretty small but they can be accommodating for larger parties if you call 30 mins ahead.
