My husband ordered a steak, medium rare, 1st was beyond well done, 2nd was rare, and the 3rd he ate, as we were done with our lunch. I ordered the soup, salad, and dinner buffet. Everything had been cooking all day. The corn on the cob was 1/2 burned. Needless to say we will not be back.

Our first visit to this restaurant last year was good… Tonight the fries were great, but the chicken sandwich was quite bad…
I’m not likely to come back, unfortunately.

So I've been there a few times now and it's been consistently good across the board. That being said, I haven't actually tried a lot of food off the menu, just one or two items. Primarily breakfast.

Our group sat in the outer room. A radio was playing loudly from the speakers. Breakfast was good but two visits and both times the decaf coffee was bitter and substituted tea for it. Hope that can be remedies.

I visited for the Sunday buffet, and overall, the food was hot, fresh, and tasty. The service was excellent, and it's great to see a local business doing well. However, I do have a couple of complaints.

First, the price of coffee was unreasonable. I ordered a cup with breakfast and then asked for one to go. Most places don't charge full price for a to-go cup after you've already ordered one, but I was charged nearly $5 for both. That seems excessive.

Second, the 4% service fee at the register was frustrating. I understand that restaurants incur fees from credit card companies, but it’s better to include that cost in the food prices instead of surprising customers at checkout. Charging more than the standard fee, and profiting from it, feels unfair.

While I had high hopes for this place as a good stop between South Bend and Indy, these issues left me too upset to return.

Went for dinner with friends. Is cute, very clean, and staff are polite and prompt with service. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had all we needed. Had the fish dinner which was crisp and flaky without being greasy. The breading was light and seasoned well. I am not much of a fish eater, but would definently not hesitate to order this again. The Chicken Pot Pie soup was incredible. No need to add any additional salt to anything. Our party will definitely go back to try some other dishes.
