Never going back

The food used to be better. Our onion rings tasted like fish. Our server said it was gross, but never offered a replacement or refund of them.

I just have to say, I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant, The Brass Rail, Plymouth, as I have tonight. Our waitress, won't say names, was pretty lackadaisical with us. Was more concerned with the 2 gentleman next to us. Consistently asking them if they needed anything and us, just kept walking by without eye contact nor communication. We had to ask a different waitress for the beer we had been waiting for. I guess they were all too concerned with the Oliver Christmas party going on in the same room. They really should not have seated anyone in that room. Our baked potatoes were so cold that the butter would not melt. The medium steak was well done. I had to trade my steak with my husband's because it was so done. She finally came back to ask and explained I had to switch mine with his, apparently that was OK, she didn't offer to redo. I also have never had anyone ask for our bread back before we finished. That was very strange. At least the raccoons will eat good tonight, all the food went in a container for them. The overall experience sucked. $170 worth. Won't be back!!!

Karaoke night on Fridays is the best! The servers are polite and personable, the food is upscale, and the beer is always cold

Had an excellent lunch that was both very tasty and large portions. The kitchen was a little slow this day, but not to bad, the waitress/server was excellent. Will most definitely go back often, a solid 4.5 stars.

Excellent customer service. Very attentive & knowledgeable — as well as genuinely pleasant & friendly. Food quality was good as well as food temps. Busy Friday evening — got seated (solo) before the bigger groups started arriving. Located on busy U.S. 31 on corner lot downtown historic Plymouth. I ordered the white fish (speciality) sandwich which was very large. Also ordered an appetizer that turned out to be massive (huge pretzels with bar cheese).

I was traveling in the area and wanted a sit down dinner. Nice place. I would describe it as a little old school. Combined with a new vibe. Waitress was very nice.

Neat little spot in the downtown area. Great beer selection. Food was good, not great. They had enough on the menu to please anyone. Great service. My fish sandwich was tasty but I didn't care for the Cole slaw at all.

Descent food, good drinks ordered 2 pieces of pie to go, both were half size of what we usually get...not worth the money. Too bad we live down the street and won't be back!

Very disappointing experience. It had been years since I went here because the last experience was sub-par, but this was really bad. Chop steak was ordered medium and came out burnt. Bland and no flavor except the burnt taste. Server never came to check on us and never brought refills. Another server refilled my water, but my friend never got a soda refil. It was somewhat busy, but she passed us multiple times to wait on another table by us. Waited 15 minutes after she said she would bring the check only to finally go to the bar to check out. No “sorry” or “thanks for waiting” from the server. Only giving 2 stars because the pretzels and beer cheese were good and the place is nice.
