One of the better pizza restaurants in Northwest Indiana period. Their food is pretty good. If you want a good experience go to their original location on U.S. Highway 6 and County Line road in Portage / Hobart. The building is on the Lake County & Porter County line. It’s easy to find on the southeast corner of the intersection in the plaza. I’ve been eating at that location for almost 43+ years.
Gelsosmoes is good. The staff I mostly very friendly and helpful. However, I have had to come back for my orders to be corrected. We have been going here for decades. We really like the popeye pizza and idk anywhere else that has it. We used to love this place. But over the last year or more the food has gotten worse. The last order, we got a small ham, sausage and pepperoni calabrese. Also a few other items. They forgot the calabrese pizza & overcharged our bill. After arriving...
The food was great. I did ask for cheese bread and I for bread sticks with cheese powder sprinkled on them. Never saw our waitress. She never came to check on us. Didn't come to ask if we needed anything like refills.
