We had terrible service From the moment we walked in to the time we left almost 2 hours later. I do not recommend this location at all. Cold food, watered down drinks because they sat on the bar for 15 before the waitress showed back up, wrong orders, ect ect. Stay away. Hopefully they change something soon.

I’ve been coming to this Hooters for years, but sadly my last visit was very disappointing. I ordered the original wings with mild buffalo sauce, but they came out dry with no visible sauce. After sending them back, they returned with a thin, watered-down buttery coating that had little flavor or spice. When I asked about it, the waitress casually said it was a “new sauce” corporate switched to.
I tried to eat a few but they were so bad I set them aside. No one followed up, offered to replace them, or provided any kind of credit. Service recovery was nonexistent. The fries were also soggy despite asking for extra crispy. While they did remake them, they came out long after the rest of our food was cold.
After looking into it, it seems this change in sauces is a cost-cutting move tied to the company’s bankruptcy. That may explain things, but it doesn’t excuse the poor quality and service. At a time when the brand needs to win customers back, the food and experience have gone in the opposite direction. Very disappointing, and unfortunately, I will not be returning.

The food was great. Service was good. The waitresses were perfect. They didn’t hound us for money. They did their job and they were very personable and the ladies in this picture deserve to be on the magazine because they’re beautiful, intelligent, and they truly know how to serve and take care of their customers.

Disappointed I paid $7 for fries I ask if I had to get they said yes and my bill was charges $5.49 and I had to put my sauce in my strips and shake my Togo box and I also paid $.99 cents for extra ranch when I got back to my hotel was no extra ranch I will never ever go to a hooters again nasty and horrible service and employees. Is now know why they are closing left and right horrible staff and service and food

It's Hooters, haha. The service was great and the nachos with chicken I ordered were pretty decent.
Parking: There's a very large parking lot right in front of the restaurant.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible but does not have automatic doors.
If you are in town, they have the A team at this sparkling clean, safe and full of precious angels location. You might even get to see Nichole, Kayla and oh so many other of the people who work hard to fill your day with beauty, smiles and great food. Restaurant looks great. Service is still slow as a follow up review a year later. Motz sticks come out slightly warm in center and do not stretch out and the beer cheese for the pretzels is definitely not the same as every other Hooters I've been to. It's probably a salsa con queso.
Burger was great and so were the pretzels but I just wish portage would have it up to par with the Merrillville location at least.

I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was raw inside. This location is famous for messing up orders. Absolutely every order has been wrong, uncooked, overcooked, delivered to the wrong house and absolutely no refunds or options other than they are sorry. Worst location to get food is Portage, Indiana.

While the nicest Hooters I've seen, location has a management issue. Took beyond an hour for Fried Pickles, 20 Wings, and a couple of sodas. While the "kitchen lost" our ticket, staff made themselves several rounds of shakes at the bar and cut up seemingly on their breaks at the bar, the bartender never questioned that we had been sitting for so long. After asking about our to-go order, we were told specifically it would be "four more minutes". 10 minutes later, we are told our ticket was lost by the kitchen, and told they would just cancel for us. We wanted our food, and asked for them to be made. The place was not very busy, and there was ample staff about. While we were not charged for the second part of our order, it was still an unpleasant experience.
