Owner who seated me treated me terribly. I told two employees and they said she treats them terribly as well. I was there a total of 20 minutes and she asked me if I was done yet twice before I left and onnce when I still didnt have my food. Everyone at the tables around me were there before I arrived and were still there when I left, 40 minutes total. Then when I went to pay, she yelled at me and said I was there 2 hours! I did yell back at her and called her a witch. I would never return. I have never been treated worse.

Im a truck driver and I use to work for Maverick a long time ago. When I fist signed on I was with a trainer for a few weeks. We came up here to Portage and used the courtesy car to go to this place. That was 8 years ago. It was so good back then that I ordered two omelets, one to go because I was way to full to eat the second. Today in my own rig and several years later I indulged myself on fond memories and seeing as I was in Portage I figured is stop by. Maybe my taste buds have changed maybe I have changed, maybe the ownership has changed but the experience there was definitely not the same. The omelet was bland, the hash browns were…off. Literally McDonalds hash browns are better. The pancakes were alright, like literally the only thing I actually finished and enjoyed was the black coffee. The staff had mannerisms and tones in their choice of words that indicated they definitely did not want to be there. $15 for my meal though so thats a good price. After 8 years of not even being in this area and so not being able to dine in here I think I can go another 8 years.

The blonde hostess truly needs to get it together and learn how to do her job properly! She made my to go experience very poor and doubtful I'll return for carry out. I'll just dine in from now on to avoid her incompetence.

I ordered the chicken salad in a tomato. There were only 4 table spoonfuls of chicken salad. On the menu it stated came with fruit and cucumbers. When the waitress brought it there were no cucumbers. I asked the waitress about it and was told "just because it states that on the menu doesn't mean we have it" she then brought a plate full of cucumbers.. I don't recommend this place.
The only reason I gave a 5 star is because our waitress Denette is the best . I only go there only when she's working.

Suppose to be all you can eat fish & ribs. Ribs were terrible. Bad flavor & smell besides bring dry. Asked for more fish, waited over twenty minutes & none arrived. Did not refill soda. Tried to charge us for inedible ribs. Then they played the blame game. Never going back.
