I had a fantastic dining experience at Quaker Steak & Lube. I ordered the Orange Chicken with rice, and when it first arrived, it had an excessive amount of sauce that made it look more like a soup than a dish. However, our waitress was super attentive and came over to check on us. She explained what happened with the dish and assured us that a new one would be made.
The replacement dish came out perfectly—delicious, perfectly sauced, and just as expected. The service was outstanding, and I really appreciated how the staff handled the situation with professionalism and care. The food was flavorful, and everything was cooked just right.
Overall, a great meal with excellent service. I’ll definitely be back for more!

We have been long time fans of Quaker Steak, and this one was no exception. Our local restaurant closed so we were very excited to find one while we were on our trip to Indiana Dunes. The service was great, and the food even better. We started with the cheese and pretzels as our appetizer, and it was delicious. Me and my husband both had the orange chicken rice bowl which was so good! We can't wait to stop by for future visits to the dunes for a little nostalgia! The restaurant was clean, and our server was very friendly! I highly recommend!

My family and I have been here twice now while visiting Lake Michigan. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Portage! The food and drinks are fantastic. The staff are all very friendly and the atmosphere is so much fun! My kids love that they can sit in the race cars!

The first time I saw this restaurant I thought it was a oil change place. 😅 it's a very cool restaurant and has very neat decor. If your every near this place check them out! Only the cool kids go here😆😂
The fries didn't get crispy, brought to table limp. And the fish was super watery, it dripped. Really nice staff but food was meh.

Great food!! Good experience. Great decor. I got the cauliflower wings with the Thai I didn't think it was spicy. It was really good. Probably will got a bit hotter next time. Decent prices we also got the boom boom shrimp. Comes with 6 and coleslaw in the middle really good. My hubs got the BLT with French fries but the fries weren't ready for my daughter's and his plate so she brought out some chips which were Devine!

Great atmosphere inside. Outside could use to be cleaned up. There are empty beer bottles on the tree row. At least 10. Looks tacky. The food was good. I would recommend this place. Just needs to clean up the outside. They have an outside bar, which looked nice. Check out some pics. 📸
