My fiancée and I had dinner here last night. Place was like a ghost town, which should have been a warning. We get seated behind another couple who is finishing up and paying their bill by credit card and the waitress tells them humorlessly, “Don’t steal my pen.” The couple chuckled in disbelief at what they heard. We were “lucky” enough to get the same waitress, who seemed to struggle a bit taking our order. My fiancée ordered her salad with the dressing on the side. It was delivered to our table with the dressing not on the side, but drowning in it. She wouldn’t eat it and mentioned nicely to the waitress she had asked for it on the side when she brought our entrees. The waitress seriously gave her a hate stare and, with annoyance, asked if she wanted it remade, which my fiancée declined since our food had arrived. The food was just okay, but lukewarm at best. Our waitress never once came back to check on us until we had been sitting for a while with empty, dirty plates in front of us. We had to ask for the check and left payment on the table, fearing the waitress would not come back again to collect our cash. Honestly, this was some of the worst, unfriendliest service we had ever experienced and it will affect our decision to return in the future.

Your chicken and dumpling soup has way too much salt in it, I couldn't eat it. You need to cut back on salt so customers can taste the carrots and other ingredients. Right now it just tastes like salt.

Ordered a delivery of steak dinners. 70.00 dinner and no potatoes were delivered. The lady whom delivered was extremely nice. Called the portage in store and they gave me to the manager, what a waste of time. She tried to blame the restaurants mistake on the driver. Seriously. She said I didn't order and loaded baked potatoes but I ordered vegetables. OK that's incorrect but, where r these vegetables then? She again pushed it off on the Uber driver. Really, u are going to stoop that low as a manager to act like the driver ate the damn potatoes. She argued and I wasn't in the mood. She wanted to send me a dollar for vegetables that didn't come either. I just spent over$70 and she thought a dollar to eat in her restaurant at another date. What an embarrassment she created. Don't treat me like I'm am idiot. I told her no, u keep the dollar and know u lost a customer over not accepting u made a mistake and then offered to give a customer a dollar. Never again

Definitely don't order anything to go here. They can't seem to get the simplest orders correct. Maybe the abundance of customers they have is to much for the to-go server.

The food was very good. The atmosphere was nice.Like the salt and pepper, her shaker wete Corona Bottom, the steak was cooked deliciously.Baked potato was huge and delicious. The buns were delicious, too. The only negative thing I had to say The waitress were nice to your face , but they all talk behind your back And come out to look at you and laugh and talk about your nose ring or tattoos or happen to be iteracial couple and not look like the Local locals.

Went here for my birthday, However left very disappointed.. Orders came out wrong, food was not very good. Was charged gratuity but did not have 6 people. Asked for rolls multiple time never received.Drinks were never refilled when requested. mozzarella sticks still had flour on them. Dissatisfied will never go back!! 0 out of 10 do not recommend!!

Let's start with the sweet tea. It was truly sweet as tea should be and came in quart Ball/Mason jars! All of the Texas style steak houses start out with some type of roll. Theirs was just ok, but I really liked that they gave us regular and cinnamon butter. Nice touch. I ordered dumpling soup and it was fantastic! Next I ordered a T-bone steak extra well. Most places don't know how to do this and either undercook it or burn it. They not only got it right the 1st time but checked with me to be certain it was cooked correctly. Bonus! Unfortunately it was flavorless but I used their spicy ketchup for steak sauce. Finally I had the chocolate cake. It was so huge 2 of us ate on it...twice, before we could finish it. Overall a good experience.

There is ample parking. There are several booths, as well as the bar, for seating. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The portions were enormous! Pricing is fair. The alcoholic drinks are refreshing. Handicapped accessible entry and seating. Most important, this restaurant is clean! I will eat here again.

On September 5 my sister and I dined in with my daughter to celebrate her birthday. She's a special needs child that just hit double digits. The big 10! The guy manager came up to our table and gave my daughter a beautiful brightly colored stuffed piggy animal not knowing it was her special day. She has been carrying this pig around everywhere the past 4 days. She is still super excited to have it. The whole interaction with him was so bittersweet and wholesome. We didn't get his name, but I wanted to give him a huge shout-out for such amazing service! Our meals were delicious and everything was pretty perfect from the waitress service to the hostess who greeted us upon arrival. 5 stars! Thank you for the priceless top notch memories, Texas Corral!
