Food was horrible, over seasoned or under seasoned, steaks not done how we requested, forgot 3 sides and left us for 20 min before seeing our waitress again told her the issues, she said I can take half of your steak and cook it, that sounded off like maybe take it and make a new one or comp part of a meal for the rudeness, missing food, and food not being at the correct doneness, I haven't been here in over 2 years, now I remember why, all in all food was gross and a waste of money I should have went to outback

I originally gave a 5 star review however that was 2 years ago and I visited them today and boy what a disappointment! Steak didn’t have any flavor, potato was smashed the appearance was less than desirable. Manager did comp the steak for us.
There are too many people at one time. Bit messy on the floor.

To the Management of Texas Roadhouse in Portage, Indiana,
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent online order. I have been a loyal customer for a long time, and typically, my orders are prepared accurately, especially my well-done steaks. To ensure this, I consistently call your customer service after placing an online order to relay the message to the chef to prepare my steak well done or super well done.
Today, after a long day of work, I trusted your team to prepare a well-done steak. Upon arrival to pick up my order, I waited approximately 5-10 minutes due to a busy staff member. When the steak was handed to me, I asked if it was well done, and I was assured that it was. However, once I was in the parking lot, I sensed something was wrong. Upon opening the steak, I found it to be completely undercooked, with significant blood.
I immediately returned inside and showed the steak to the staff member. While she was not the cook and was willing to take action to correct the mistake, I did not have another 30 minutes to wait. Consequently, I left the order and walked away.
I am deeply frustrated by this experience and regret to say that I will not be returning to this location.
